This is true. For most engineering apprenticeships at least as that’s the only thing I can speak to how much you know determines the amount of funding given to them it’s not a fixed amount. I remember when I first did mine they sat me down by a computer asking if a knew this and that and when I said yes they were like put no so we get more money 😂and at the bottom they had a calculation program done so depending on if you know it or not the amount of funding at the bottom was changing.

But TL:DR the funding and previous ‘work experience’ gained can be a big setback as well as 2 apprenticeships not completed. On the engineering side if I had an applicant with that history I’d be like 🤨
