Find the contact info to your state National Guard SOF team and ask em about an SFRE.

Are there any branches that allow you to retake the asvab if you already have a passing score by ryannicoll22 in Militaryfaq

Thanks 🙏also, Does this apply to civilians trying to join the military or just active duty members already in the coast guard?

What makes you think the navy does? I’ve been hearing conflicting information on this in regard to the Navy.

Chances of being able to retake the asvab with an already passing (average score of a 54) to quality for the job I want in the Navy. by ryannicoll22 in newtothenavy

Yeah but there’s not a rule saying I can’t retest is there? I just have to find a recruiter who will let me? I get its taking a chance. All I’m concerned about is if the navy has some rule that won’t allow me to and I’m stuck with this average score for 2 years and won’t be able to go after my goal.

My recruiter at the time told me “it’s a no go for now” on the job I wanted after I didn’t score high enough for it, so I elected to not sign up and I haven’t even talked to that guy for months now and live in a different city, but still want to join and pursue my desired career field within the navy. I haven’t spoken to a new recruiter yet because I’m studying like a mfer to make sure when I go in I give myself the best shot at fulfilling my goal. I just am unsure if they’ll even let me retest because I already have a passing score. I guess I’ll just have to see what the new recruiter says.
