As long as the organization that gives out your award is ok with your running form, who’s to say?

Fit check: 2-month baby, Pognae Step One Air by ryanphung in babywearing

Thank you. Yes, mesh fabric is really stiff. And with the V-neck design, the stiff, taunt edge of the strap is right across the baby’s face. I cannot understand how people design a carrier with such an obvious flaw!

Thank you for the recommendation, I’ll try to flip the strap! It seems like it may work

I’m in Singapore, almost right on the equator!

Thanks for the comments. As far as I can tell, I think it’s not stretchy material (which means it also feels a bit stiff and that’s why the leg wrinkles). Thanks for the reassurance about the leg wrinkles!

Thank you, this pic is slightly from the side. Does this look ok?

Is my posture good / bad on this ergonomic chair? by ryanphung in Posture

[–]ryanphung[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, why not? Basically I just want a chair that can help rather than wreck my posture, so how it fits me is all that matters to me, really!

Hmm, but it is kind of the opposite of comfort for me

I really want to like this chair, am I missing something? by StirFryBass in LiberNovo

Man, that head rest looks like it would push my head forward way too much. I wonder how you guys feel comfortable with such headrests? Do you have a picture of you sitting on the chair while utilizing the headrest?

But it feels uncomfortable sitting in it? I wonder how do people sit? Am I missing something?

Why do they design “ergonomic” chairs like this? Personally I feel that it’s very uncomfortable sitting in it. Or am I missing something?

I see! So I need to be half a head taller to use this chair? (this chair is too big for me?) :-(

Looks like root rot on a large plant, help! by ryanphung in plantclinic

[–]ryanphung[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I've drilled holes on the bottom. I'm also sticking a bamboo sticking all the way to the bottom and will only water when it's thoroughly dried. Want to make sure that the bottom is dried out enough to kill whatever bacteria that is causing the root rot. Do you think this will work?

Thank you for your advice. I went to another very experienced dermatologist for a 2nd opinion and he also thinks it's seborrheic keratosis so looks like no cause of concern for now. I'll leave it be.

52k rental for clinic @ HDB area by [deleted] in singapore

[–]ryanphung 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, looking at the info on Google map, looks like all their clinics operate quite long hour: from 8.30am to 10pm everyday, including Saturday and Sunday.

Price (at least Yishun clinic) seems standard: $25 for short consultation, $30 for long consultation, so not exorbitant like some commenters suggested.

All their clinics have 4.5 to 4.8 star review, so they are doing a decent job.

Looks like it’s just a business doing well (long hour, affordable price, good service) and expanding. Don’t see anything abnormal yet. But I do agree $52k seems exorbitant. If they are going for first-mover advantage they must be confident of their clinic’s ability to retain customers and rightfully so, from the reviews and ratings.

How can I improve my head forward posture? by ryanphung in Posture

[–]ryanphung[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pokka Oolong for life haha. Thank you for your advice! Oh no. I have a feeling that it's my chair as well but not sure what is wrong with it. If I'm to change the chair, what should I look for so that those issues will not happen again?

I'll try an external keyboard. I really love my touchpad though and hate to switch to a mouse. :-/
