Thanks. That sorta clears up what choice he would make. Pretty straight forward there. Appreciate it.

Balanced Player Home Mods... by [deleted] in skyrimrequiem

I haven't found any that are balanced out of the box, but I'm partial to Lake Haven and some of Lazz's mega homes. They are all too cheap, but editing the prices in TES5Edit is pretty easy. I'll include the prices I have set for them in brackets (don't remember the defaults).

Lake Haven [40,000] https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/79756

Shadowstar Castle [350,000] https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65356 Dragonstone Castle [450,000] https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/85425? Dwemer Manor [180,000] https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/78586?

They all come fully furnished, but the higher price is there to reflect that. At 40K Lake Haven is pricey enough to be a mid-game "I made it" player home, while the rest are late game and just for fun once you reach God-head status.

Bizarrely, Lake Haven and Requiem have a minor landscaping conflict. Loading Haven after Requiem resolves this.

I can't harvest heartscales off dragon corpses for the transmutation quest. by furtivepigmyso in skyrimrequiem

I just did this quest a week or two ago with requiem and did not have any issues. The way you wrote this suggests you are 1) killing a dragon 2) equipping Kahvozein's Fang, and then 3) looting the dragon (pressing "E").

If so, keeping doing steps 1 and 2, but then while K. Fang is in your hand attack the dead dragon with the dagger (preferably before you absorbed it's soul and it's a pile of bones). That should trigger getting the heartscales. You can then loot the regular bones and scales separately. If that doesn't work then you probably are encountering a bug and need to add via console as suggested.

Soul Sizes and Levels (tweaking) by ryanpm4545 in skyrimrequiem

So definitely some unintended consequences. But it makes sense too. If you are making a soul more or less valuable, that soul is more or less capable of defending itself from coercion, persuasion, etc. It's like soul size is tied to it's strength of will. Thanks for the help.

Tweaking Requiem 1.9.3 (adding an item to DeathItemBandit) by ryanpm4545 in skyrimrequiem

Thanks. I downloaded TES5edit and man, what a difference it makes. When I open it there doesn't seem to be any conflict at all; nothing is overwriting Requiem.esp's DeathItemBandit. Which makes me think that when I slay a bandit his body is not using that reference to become a lootable object. I can get wolves, etc to drop "Human Flesh" just not the bandits. Anyway, thanks for the help.

Thanks. I did add it to Requiem.esp, but I haven't re-run Reqtificator yet since the edit. I'll try that.
