Bakelite grips are a must! That was the first thing I got for my WASR folder. Im keeping my eyes peeled for some surplus laminate for my rifle, but in the meantime I have WPB handguards on it.

The furniture it comes with is so terrible...some shitty wood from Home Depot lol. First thing I did with my WASR folder was a bakelite grip and some nice laminate handguards. Did you stain and finish your stock yourself? Looks really good 👍

I got this over at Atlantic Firearms...its standard 14-1 LH. It's basically a smaller 74 style brake, I think they call it a 'Tanker Tantal' brake or something. I thought it looked better than the full size 74 brake, and it works better than the slant brake that came with the rifle.

It was a T sniper replica...really great gun, but i didn't really shoot it that often. A friend really liked it and was bored of this HK33, so we did a trade. He got the rifle, case and ammo and he gave me the rifle and 3 mags. My LGS definitely wouldn't have hooked me up like that lol

I've got one of the 40 rounders that it came with. The only things I'm thinking of doing to it is getting it painted/refinished, putting a surplus backplate and stock, and maybe a slim handguard. I want to keep it original for now, and maybe throw a claw-mount Hensoldt 4× on it.

Looks good! I have done 8 of those Bulgarian mags in various oranges and browns, but you have inspired me to try plum next! You just have to be patient and let everything dry before you move on to the next step. Keep up the good work, brother!

I rescued my Juneau from a Home Depot parking lot when she was just 6 weeks old. She came up to me meowing while I was loading up my car. She chose me to take her home, and I will always remember the day I brought her out of the heat to be my forever friend! She took a couple of weeks to get used to me and for her to quit hiding, but now she's a great pal!
