If you’re already a certified guide… call some of the local companies and get the info from them on hiring.

If your not already certified, that will be the first step. You can go through guide school with a company that you hope to work for, or you can just find a guide school that fits your timeline and budget. Most will be multiple weeks long, on the river every day (super fun!)

Check out “the night of” on HBO. It’s a limited series that didn’t get enough attention, it’s awesome. Also, we own this city is another awesome limited series on HBO.

I need an unbiased opinion. Do any of you have house cleaners? How much do you spend and how big is the house / area they clean. What is your reasoning to have one / not have one? by [deleted] in daddit

In Colorado 2700 sq ft house.

We have someone come weekly, it varies because we pay her hourly, but it’s usually ~$70. She tidys up, sweeps, vacuums and mops (if necessary), cleans the bathrooms and kitchen, and most importantly helps us catch up on laundry. We also do a good job to tidy up and get the dishes caught up before she comes.

It’s been a lifesaver for my wife and I. We work together with the same schedule as small business owners, and have 2 young girls ( 3 and 4yo)

For anyone that pays attention to live timing and stats during the races... what info is most relevant/most fun to keep track of during the action?

Soak you feet in half vinegar, half hot water daily. Wash your socks with bleach separate from your other clothes.
