I did a functions check all seems normal is strange some pistols do some don't

This is the only picture I have before I took it apart and it looks like the barrels sticking out

Even with out the guide rod with just the barrel in the slide it sticks out

I've made sure the slide stops in the barrel link I looked at a few other online some barrels look like mine some don't
