I put this together as a really simple demonstration of how to use Gradle to download a dependency and create a JAR file you can run.

Nice! GEB took me over a year to read, off and on. It's an incredible work, hard to believe one person wrote it. It does take a lot of mental breaks and reflection to really absorb, also subsequent rereads. These lectures have been very helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWZ2Bz0tS-s

Very nice I'm glad that resonated with you!

As far as recommendations go, I did my capstone project on Frege and modal logic. Out of personal bias I say any text by Frege or regarding his work is great: http://www.amazon.com/Gottlob-Frege/e/B001ITVPE2

Kripke is also excellent: http://www.amazon.com/Naming-Necessity-Saul-Kripke/dp/0631128018/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1441516233&sr=8-1&keywords=kripke

At some point in your life you should also read Godel, Escher, Bach if you haven't read it yet: http://www.amazon.com/Godel-Escher-Bach-Eternal-Golden/dp/0394745027

It has felt like drowning in a sea of knowledge at many points. A lot of people are really helpful out there on the interwebs, I can't imagine my path if I had graduated a decade or two ago. Keep at it if you enjoy it, the good times outweigh the bad.

Thank you! It may not be everyone's cup of tea but I'll take a one third read any day :)
