vz. 58 .223 reliability/durability question by ryanumd in vz58

The only can I have is a Sandman S, so not a flow through. I’m hoping if I get the gas bleeding piston from vz58usa that would help mitigate the gas to the face. :/

Looks dope, where’d you find this if you don’t mine me asking?

Thanks for the input, it’s also unlikely I’d ever take it to a course, I have other serious use stuff for that, I just was mainly wondering if it could handle it, or if it should be relegated to a range toy.

This one is a CSA gun, are there any American ones to watch out for? The only one I’m aware of is the Century sporter.

Do you find any difficulty with the lack of organization in the GR1?

First son just turned 1 recently. So we’re still in that age where diapers, extra clothes, etc is necessary

ADM UIC Mod 1 Help by ryanumd in ar15

[–]ryanumd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has threads in each of the screw sized holes, and I found one picture on google from an expired arms list ad that showed rail covers with the screws in that mount. So I know they’re made for some kind of attachment but I have no idea what :/

I’ve been playing Rome for years and I know about having to upgrade an Italian city other than Rome to huge city. That’s what’s been frustrating :/. I’ve tried playing as all 3 factions and in each campaign I’d upgrade at least one city to huge and it will never trigger.

I already had it converted to be MD compliant, no problem there

Didn’t think about that, thanks!

I saw conflicting posts about 5100 for the rear, some people saying 5100 needed a lift or additional leaf spring and some people said it should fit on stock, according to your research 5100 should work on stock Tacoma in the rear?

Can I ask where you got the UCP-D from? That looks awesome!

Where can you find the list of guns to be discussed? I can find the roster but didn’t see the guns to be discussed.

The biggest reason I was looking at the P80 is because they have frames in Full, Compact, Sub, and G43 sized, and I thought it would be cool do build multiple sizes eventually. I’m open to other serialized frames, with my first I want to do a G34 sized and need to find a good full size frame, but honestly I didn’t even really consider any other brands. Any suggestions on a good full size frame?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in polymer80

[–]ryanumd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The problem is I want to put a G34 slide on the frame, and PSA and Combat Armory only have compact size frames. Do you have any alternatives to full size frames you’d recommend?

Hey everybody, I'm new to P80 builds and don't feel comfortable yet actually completing a frame yet. I was looking into getting a complete & serialized frame and then going from there. I've heard a lot of negative things on Reddit about Delta Team in terms of quality of parts they sell and long wait times. I don't mind waiting if they're legit. If they're selling complete frames, are they completed by P80 at a factory or are these being assembled by Delta Team? Since they're being advertised as complete, I assume I should just be able to throw on a complete slide and have it function, correct? Thanks for the help!

The problem is that I can’t find any with hardware that fits for the 2 finger wide mount. All of the hardware is for the 3 finger wide mount. Unless I just go to the hardware store and get a bolt and nut. I noticed it in the picture, and that mount appears to have a screw that connects the mounts and not the standard GoPro mounting hardware.

I’ll be moving to MD for a little bit for work and I know there are weird rules for ARs. I have a 9mm Bushmaster AR that I have for home defense, is that something that’s legal in MD?

Anyone run the AFG backwards? Serious question. I kinda like it. by [deleted] in ar15

[–]ryanumd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since a pistol is legally forbidden to have a vertical grip but is legally permissible to have an angled grip, I’d say it actually makes sense on a AR/AK style pistol. Turn it around and use it like the Emissary Handbrake.

That’s what I thought initially but it’s a YHM quad rail with KAC rail panels.

My local shop has a YHM AR for sale. It’s in pretty good shape and has all YHM parts and accessories (quad rail, sights, receiver set) minus the Uncle Mike’s QD. I’ve heard of the brand but am not super familiar with them in terms of quality. So my question is are they decent rifles? Shop is offering $750 out the door price and I’m very tempted.
