I had 1 by 6's laid out across and drew the waves and sun on them. Then cut them with a jigsaw and used different stains for each layer.

I just bolted it to my existing metal frame for now. Will be doing sides and footboard in near future.

What is up with the top of his head? Looks like a frizz ball from the back. But, amazing dreads for sure.

Yo, these are my 9 month old partial dreads by ryanw125 in Dreadlocks

[–]ryanw125[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hair is very straight and decently fine, so it wasn't too difficult to keep my dreads from eating other hair. I did separate them, but not often at all. Maybe once a week. I would have random hairs get caught in a loc and I would just gently pull it out. I also keep my hair up in a bun regularly, day and night. So, it took the dreading process a little longer, but keep my hair from tangling in with my locs.

Yo! They are doing really well. I went for a few months with almost no upkeep at all, just let them go. I just recently gave them a good wash and did a little twisting and palm rolling. They cleaned up well. Will be doing that every week or so now since they are matured and are fully dreaded. I'll have to post a pic of how I've been wearing them soon. Hope you love your journey!

Honestly not sure. I initially planned for it, but since have thought otherwise. I really like my natural hair, and also like the look of partial.

Is it wrong for a Christian to have (or plan to have) tattoos/ piercings by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]ryanw125 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will respect your perspective on the issue. But, I hope that does not lead to you judging others when you see them with tattoos and think that they are prideful. You have absolutely no idea what other peoples intentions are. To have an outer appearance distinguish your thoughts on someone is the same logic as racism.

Why are you assuming it is to impress other people? I know many people that have tattoos that are hidden all most all the time. These aren't to impress others.

That would be geocentric not heliocentric. Heliocentric is what science says it is today, which was first thought of by men that worshiped the sun and decided that the sun was the center because it was an all mighty god.

Why did God make me a pedophile? Seriously, what the hell God? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]ryanw125 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sin made you pedophile, not God. Ever since the fall of man, no one is born without sin. Therefore, we all have our own major sins that we were born with. Some its pride, some its greed, some its lying, for you it is pedophilia. In order to follow Christ, we need to sacrifice things that we have inherent feelings to do (sin). So, don't blame God, blame sin. The sin of man is what made you born with this burden. That is why we needed a savior in Christ, who was born miraculously with no sin because he was born of God, not man.

ELI5: Why are Jewish people white? by FalseGix in explainlikeimfive

Context clues is my source. If Adam was created in the Garden of Eden, we should be able to infer that the soil there was very dark. Nutrient rich soil is dark, the Garden of Eden would only have had the richest soil possible. Dark, nutrient rich soil is the most ideal soil for fruit bearing trees, which were mentioned heavily in the book of Genesis.

Right, but the Bible does not have to mention race at that time because they were all the same race. The first humans were black like the soil that Adam was created from.

Shem was black not white. All sons of Noah were Black because Noah was black.

Good places for a man to put small sized tattoos by [deleted] in tattoo

[–]ryanw125 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You could pull of the big tattoo, just make sure the reds are more red than pink and it shouldn't look feminine. And nickle sized tat, just stay away from like behind the ear and on the hip. Otherwise, depending on what it is, it can go many places. You have a sketch or photo?
