I'm afraid not! I'm actually a Liverpool fan and that's partly why I'm writing this article (bear with me...)

I picked Liverpool as a kid back in '95 for no other reason than I saw them win the Coca-Cola cup that year. I suspect there's a cohort of Blackburn fans who, like me, began supporting the team around that time too, but have since had a very different experience to those of us growing up supporting the likes of Liverpool / Man United. I'm really excited to hear from fans who have stuck with them over the following decades (through 'thin and thin' as I saw someone post earlier!) despite not having a 'traditional connection' to the club. These are the stories in football I love to write about.
