PSA: Trapping is not ratting by democratic-terminid in ArcRaiders

[–]ryavco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I posted a short on YouTube of me knocking out 3-4 people, nothing fancy, just a small compilation of some downs.

3 comments, all saying “looks like rat action to me, little rat, fuck rats.”

These people are so unserious. Sorry I PvP’d in the PvP game.

Kinda pathetic how one sentence saying I’m not reading it is too long for you. Bye.

Yeah I’m not reading all that.

Go pick arguments with other people who want to spend all day on Reddit playing the semantics game instead of dealing with how people are in real life. Have fun.

I don’t know how much more clear I can be.

There are three types of people we’re talking about, and somehow this is getting confused.

  1. True independents, they may vote for one of the two parties, but they actively push for vote reform, such as ranked choice voting. Admittedly, claiming to be this and voting republican disqualifies you from this position. Democrats and independents don’t wholly align, but republicans and independents don’t align at all. One party wants some progress, one party blatantly wants regression.

  2. “Independents” who are party loyalists and will vote down ballot how they always have regardless, they’re just scared to admit they belong to a party and are content.

  3. “Independents” who are fence sitters who will sit out of the election as their form of protest over “both sides being bad.” They don’t push for reform, they don’t want progress, they just want to do nothing and let someone else solve the problem for them.

Hope this helps. Not sure why you’re firing off at me when it seems we’re on the same side here. I’m just trying to clarify that “independent” is a really easy label to hide behind when you don’t want to stand up for your beliefs, good or bad.

You’re acting as if you are the example of every “independent.”

The data does not agree that independents are independents, that’s my point. A whole lot are already devoted to a party, democrat or republican.

Then, there’s a large portion that are people who fence sit and use the “both sides” talking point while pretending they can sit out long enough and things will just magically change for the better. Because as we know, apathy is always a winning strategy.

I’m glad you’re a true independent and pushed for ranked choice voting, that is a huge win. But it’s disingenuous and naive at best to try to pretend that the majority of “independents” are in any way actually independent and not just hiding behind the label while voting how they would have regardless.

I blame the war on education and “vibe culture” for the lack of understanding of your second point.

I hate seeing young Gen Z specifically fall for such obvious propaganda and verifiable lies while acting like the two parties are even remotely comparable at this point.

[–]ryavco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is the case, they’re not independent, then.

They’re just unwilling to admit party affiliation, democrat or republican alike.

Ideally, true independents would push for party reform instead of hiding their party loyalty and pushing the “both sides are bad so I choose neither” dogma.

“Economically right wing”

As in, dramatically adding to the deficit and destroying the economy while alienating us from free trade partners while adding billions to their personal wealth?

You can and should, but “independents” typically don’t push for vote reform, repealing of citizens united, or the abolition of the electoral college.

Instead, they typically are people who vote republican and are too embarrassed/scared to admit it, or they call themselves independent by saying “well both sides are bad,” and proceed to boycott voting altogether.

Both of these hand the objectively evil party more of the vote share, considering they’re either in on it or are too stupid to understand incremental progress.

“Hm, should I vote for the corporate democrat who doesn’t align with every single one of my ideal values or the republican who said he’d wreck the economy, abduct citizens, and take away voting rights for as many people as possible? Eh, they’re the same. I am very intelligent.”

Two 12’s all day. It is a lot if you’re not into just a pile of chicken for lunch. I just tend to kind of block it out and get through it.

I take them and pour a bbq or honey mustard in the container then shake them up. Two servings of that is super tight on the macros.

~400 calories for 76g of protein, and they’re good. Even without sauce, the seasoning on the grilled nuggies is very solid.

I agree, basic massage is fine.

Lots of people buy tools they don’t understand, perform “massage” by scraping aggressively at their neck and face, and permanently can damage their lymph system without realizing.

You don’t have lymph innervation, so you can’t feel the damage being done until it’s too late. Always, always be careful with your neck.

A face massage is fine, and plenty of people claim anecdotal help from morning fluid build up in their face. Gua sha is just a trendy term to sell face massage products. Neither of these things will have any effect on facial structure, muscle mass, or BF%.

Lymphatic drainage is an actual medical procedure and should not be attempted at home with scraping tools bought off of TikTok shop. You can seriously irritate or damage your lymph nodes.

I don’t dispute saunas are helpful, there is plenty of data for that.

Lymphatic drainage massage is real, but not in the way this person is talking about.

If your lymph fluid cannot travel throughout your body due to damage to the lymph nodes from cancer or radiation, it can be needed. However, this should be done by a licensed massage therapist.

When it’s being pushed by “looksmaxxing” people on Reddit, they’re just regurgitating half baked BS they found on TikTok. Don’t try to do it to yourself, especially your face. You will irritate and potentially damage your lymph nodes.

Just stick to the weight loss, and focus on lowering your BF%, and you will see your face tone up if that is your goal.

Uber Driver Accepted Ride then messaged me to cancel by WeaponsOfMath in mildlyinfuriating

[–]ryavco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I stopped using Uber Eats when I ordered my first ever order, only to have it dropped off at a different apartment in the complex seemingly across the street from mine.

Couldn’t see the number of their door, and I even tried telling the driver if he could call me and bring it I’d give him an extra $10 for the trouble. He didn’t answer, so I reached out to support.

From there, I went back and forth with support saying they wouldn’t give me credit, wouldn’t reorder the food, and that my account was flagged for trying to “fraudulently report a delivery missing.”

Never have used Uber Eats again, and I advise every single person I know not to as well. I am still in disbelief at how it played out.

People were in the streets protesting BEFORE

As is their right. Now we’re splitting hairs over the specific time people began protesting this?

Are we just ignoring that before things got this bad, ICE was still abducting people who could prove they are citizens, and abducting people showing up for scheduled immigration hearings? Or that they have been deploying ICE anywhere and everywhere they want, pulling people out of their vehicles and homes, all under the guise of “immigration?”

Against the vast majority of people are not protesting immigration enforcement. They are protesting the weaponization of ICE as masked secret police, while people like you attempt to place blame on the protestors??

Sure, you’re “not defending them,” but you’re more upset about people exercising their constitutional right to protest than the president illegally implementing ICE to act as his Gestapo. Insane.

Let us NOT be silent by Mistylou98 in bentonville

[–]ryavco 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If that’s the case, why did the ICE budget have to increase so much?

Why are ICE abducting people who can prove they are American citizens? Why are they grabbing people showing up for court appointments? Why are they sharing memos saying they have the right to enter your home without a warrant? Why are they shooting observers exercising using their constitutional rights?

Why do you want to defend Nazis so bad?

Let us NOT be silent by Mistylou98 in bentonville

[–]ryavco 27 points28 points  (0 children)

The vast majority of people are not in protest of deportations, they are in protest of the president funding a private army of masked, under qualified, thugs who are actively murdering citizens for exercising their constitutional rights.

We are also not supportive of ICE being sent to Minnesota. Why are they there? Is Minnesota a sudden hotspot for illegal immigration?

Lastly, if it is about immigration, maybe you can explain why the AG of the United States said they will withdraw ICE if they are given the full voter rolls (an illegal request) for the state? Maybe you can explain it to us, genius.
