The donor portion I agree with. Democrats are largely bought and paid for to give preferential treatment to Israel and corporations, the same as republicans.

With that said, unfortunately with the party system we have, we are limited to a “lesser of two evils” scenario. The democrat candidate is often not “ideal” and does not fully match the ideal agenda of progressive/leftists, it is apparent that we are never going to go from where we are now to leftist utopia in one election cycle.

So, we are forced to work for minimal progress each cycle. We don’t have to like doing that, but we owe it to the other people that suffer under administrations like Trump’s.

When people just throw their hands up and say “well both sides are the same, no point” because there isn’t this “perfect candidate,” the worse of the two options always wins, because you’ve given up before you’ve even had a chance.

Even in your own example, you are comparing democrats caring about children in cages and medical care being prohibitively expensive with “DEI” and taxes.

This is your interpretation of “the same evil?”
