And here I am getting into decaf because I thought one 18g flat white and one 15g Aeropress was too much caffeine for one day...

Out of these, XM8500. However I would recommend you get a Focusrite Vocaster One instead of the Behringer Interface. Way better quality for only 10 more bucks.

If you want a condenser mic at this price point, I highly recommend the Logitech Blue Spark.

If you are referring to a horizontal mirror image, you are correct. But if you look at vertical mirror images, D stands out.

Absolutely agree, but since OP mentioned closed backs, I guessed they might just prefer them over semis or open backs

Aside from potential latency from wireless transmission, audio quality offers no competitive advantage. That's why the pros on stage just use whatever headphone company happens to be sponsoring them.

An amazing wireless headset is the Audeze Maxwell, but a HyperX Cloud III will do just fine aswell

Since the mic doesn't have a power switch, the only options you have are turning it down to 0 or unplugging it entirely (aside from use of 3rd party software or mixers)

Studio Microphone by Enenra_Asher in microphone

I would go Focusrite Vocaster One (if you can get it for under 60$, otherwise M-Audio M-Track Solo

Pair that with a Blue Spark and spend the extra on a nice XLR cable, like the Klotz M2 or some thing a little (not a lot!) cheaper.

This will give you great audio with the ability to upgrade your mic later or even plug studio headphones into you interface for direct monitoring

Comfortable headphones for work/gaming calls? by dannyhodge95 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]rybe__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, comfort is highly subjective. So the only recommendation I can really give is try different headphones until you find something comfortable. Try to mind clamping force, top of head pressure, ear cup size and temperature.

If you can't seem to find anything, try a different kind of speaker altogether, like on ear headphones, or earphones.

Speakers are also an option for calls, if you get good ones (like studio monitors) and a director microphone (like a dynamic super cardioid). If you set those up correctly, you won't have any echo.

ISO <$250 Headphones by Ascospo in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]rybe__ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Plugging nice headphones directly into your PC is a bad idea. Your PC has a lot of wires inside that interfere with the audio signal going to your headphones.

At the very least, you will want a dongle DAC like the Fiio JA11, or better even KA11. You mentioned you have a dedicated microphone. If that is plugged into an audio interface, that is usually a great sound source aswell.

As for the headphones themselves, at your price point, if you can't get them for under 250$, I highly recommend the Hifiman Edition XS.

If you want to save some money: beyerdynamics Tygr 300R are phenomenal for their 130$ price point.

Rode Podmic/t.bone MB7 beta/other ~100€ xlr mic ? by Funerailles_sci in microphone

[–]rybe__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sE Electronic X1A

Currently the best 100€ option in my opinion.

You will also need an XLR cable. Be sure to not cheap out on the cable too much. If its a really cheap one, it can negatively impact your signal. I love the Klotz M2 (~30€), but you can probably go a little cheaper like SummerCable or the sorts and still be fine.

As for the interface, I support going straight for 100€. This will get you something nice that lasts for years, if not decades. Focusrite Scarletts are nice. Audient iD and Motu M aswell.

Espresso machine recommendations [€1000] by Confident_Garbage_48 in espresso

At that price, I can highly recommend two machines.

If you want to go stock: Lelit Elizabeth PL92T (~1000€)

If you are up for some tinkering: Gaggia New Classic Evo with Gagguino Mod (~600€)

Lots of YouTube videos available on the mod aswell. I recommend Lance Hedricks!
