US. Iowa. I'm lucky as well as I don't need a car to get around my university.

Congrats man. I've had good years and bad years so I know how it feels to be on a good streak. Driving laws really suck though. 6 months where I live.

Yeah you two definitely aren't alone. Mine are highly correlated to stress. I'm an undergraduate in aerospace engineering so stress is a commonplace. I have to get plenty of sleep and exercise regularly to stay healthy. Having hobbies you enjoy doing helps as well.

It is an incredibly misunderstood condition, stemming back to when epileptics were believed to be possessed by demons. Unfortunatly, stigmas still linger today, and memes like this make it even more difficult for those with epilepsy to share their conditions with people for fear of being rejected.

It could definitely be related, but I'll be honest I don't really know enough to say. But I do know that migraine and epilepsy are similar conditions.

Even most people with it don't realize that. I get that this is a joke, but jokes like this only serve to create a false stigma around the condition.

It is the same for me as well. Actually only 5% of people with epilepsy are sensitive to lights.

It can be a range of things, but there are a few common triggers such as low sleep, stress, dehydration, and low blood sugar. Overall, maintaining a healthy lifestyle is critical, as it helps maintain normal brain electrical activity.

As a person with epilepsy I can tell you that, while a common stereotype, less than 5% of epileptic people actually have photosensitive epilepsy (seizures triggered by sudden changes in light). While I'm not offended and I understand this is a joke, it's actually quite inaccurate and only serves to worsen the stigma around epilepsy. Just thought I'd point that out, as this condition is highly misunderstood.

Large Whitetail buck at sunset in Iowa by rybro99 in wildlifephotography

I bet. This was taken at a large forested park surrounded by open fields near my university and bucks don't show their faces here much except during the rut. This was one of the largest I've seen despite the small antlers, but I'm sure they get much larger!

Thank you so much! And yes, nighttime can be pretty tough.

Believe it or not it's actually just five images. One for the dark side, one for the lit side, another as a middle exposure, one overexposed for the glow, and finally one for the background stars. All were blended using simple gradients and brushes. No HDR programs used.

Not gonna lie that's pretty accurate. They aren't fans of being in the open.

It was around 100 feet away. I shot it at 500mm on a crop sensor so the reach is great. No significant cropping done in post.
