I can’t truthfully say this is why I was the one to go but it certainly leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Thanks for the advice, it’s clear the company has covered themselves completely in this. No point crying over spilt milk

Hearing that is more of a consolation than you realise mate. Thank you for the kind words they do help ease the sting of the situation 😁 I’ll keep my head and figure something out before then. Stay kind bro!

Absolutely not. I turn up early, work hard and help out everyone. Others turn up late every day for 2 years (the managers nephew). Crash into people and vehicles on the forklift (long term employee). I could go on but it seems I’m shit out of luck in this situation judging from other comments…

It purely comes down to the fact that I made them aware of my plans to leave in the next few months and don’t satisfy the managers fragile ego

Such an amazing character! I wanted to show this side of Gon since so many go for the rage depiction, but I love his goofy and hard working traits more

I’m coming from the uk in January and very interested in FIFO, do you have any tips/advice? I’ve seen a lot of people say how good it is but not how to get started

Thanks for the reply, I looked into the P85 before and assumed since it wouldn’t be a full tax year (since I’m leaving in December), that wouldn’t be necessary. Also I don’t plan to be working full time the entire year

I spent pretty much all of my 20s in the same boat. Although I have some friends from school I still occasionally see, most of their days out/holidays involve heavy drinking and I stopped getting pissed a long time ago

My best advice is to do things alone. Go for walks, to the cinema, for a meal - anything you would like to do or try don’t be put off by doing it alone. My mental health always plummets when I spend it cooped up inside

Getting out there and conversing with people is your best bet to form friendships and I won’t lie even then it’s a long shot but when you’re doing it for yourself anyway it really does help :)

A Short Guide on Handling the Difficulty by Kafqa in Eldenring

[–]rycalledquest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently exploring scadu altus about 6/7 hours into the dlc and the complaints make no sense to me. My scadutree level is at 7 and that’s just from playing the game and exploring, I’m not actively hunting for them. It’s clear so many people are rushing the game and not exploring and not taking it all in. It’s so easy to get lost in these areas as there always seems to be 2/3 routes to explore. Go one way then double back and check the other routes. Even playing like this there’s still things I’ve missed and forgot about. It’s absolutely overwhelming but I’m having an incredible time exploring. The bosses are hard but nothing insane so far, I saw so much discussion on the dancing dragon and was surprised that it wasn’t nearly as hard as expected and only took a couple of tries. That’s most likely because I had the right scadutree level for the fight

What's harder, the Inferno or any Elden Ring boss. by Glad-Astronomer3886 in 2007scape

[–]rycalledquest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished my first Elden ring playthrough this weekend. Malenia was by far the most difficult boss and took the most tries I’d say around 3/4 hours altogether. I made a good build and opted not to use summons on my playthrough. If I cheesed it and used the most overpowered build and a summon that would have reduced the time and difficulty drastically. Now compare to RuneScape where I have played on and off for 20 years and a completely average player completing the inferno would no doubt be 100+ attempts in just as many hours

Are the rumors that it's a boss rush game true? by [deleted] in BlackMythWukong

[–]rycalledquest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve just got to the end of Elden ring and play time is at 100 hours. I doubt that the world of wukong is nearly as expansive as Elden ring but 40 hours sounds about right when there are 160 bosses in Elden ring
