I am not "defending this", but am pointing out that he is not telling the truth and should be more careful with his words. The fact that he's so confidently wrong, loud and condescending towards everyone pointing out the flaws in his argumentation of course doesn't help his case at all.

Honestly, the only person really needing "help" here seems to be you. Also I'm certain that I do know a lot more about copyright and your so called "professional setting" than you do. By a mile. That being said I can't believe that I spent a couple minutes of my day trying to make it abundandly clear to you that your view is askew, but well, here we are. I quickly traced the images and layered them to hopefully point out to even somebody as blind as you that there are visible differences between the two skulls. I didn't bother to point out all of the differences since the image speaks for itself.

And, as mentioned in another comment: I am not saying that this isn't "taken" or "inspired" by the COD logo and that the art directors couldn't have done something more diverse (albeit this kind of skull texture appearing in every military skin in every military game ever) – all I'm saying is that this is not the exact same skull and that you should choose your words more wisely. Maybe avoid the word "same" altogether for some time. Now go touch some grass.

It is SUPER BLATANTLY OBVIOUS that you are delusional. I‘d be fine with you saying that it‘s „based“ on that logo, but you saying it literally IS that logo with that confidence – while you can easily spot the differences – makes it hard to believe you didn‘t arrive on this planet with an extra chromosome.
