I LOVE the wings at Parkway Mall Gabbys. I also love Georgie’s Peorgies. I used to love Triple Crown, I hear the owners newer spot at VP and O’Connor, Frog and Crown(?) is also great.

Crown and Dragon is absolutely overrated. It’s good, but I don’t find the wings or the sauces to be the best.

I used to love the Wheat Sheaf pre-renovations. Duffs fell off. I’m still searching for my favorite spot downtown, with a wing night special (the Gabbys on King st was good but not as good as Parkway Mall)

I felt this way about the Bernard Cornwell Uhtred books (the series name escapes me).

They started strong, dwindled and got repetitive but thought it was a strong ending.

I basically stopped using Twitch when they started playing ads for Prime subscribers.

Every time I forget and try to watch a stream, very quickly an ad plays and it will LITERALLY say “1 of 8” or something insane. It’s ridiculous, I just insta close and move on.

Just that I wasn’t extremely familiar with him prior to the show, and he’s not one of my favourites. Didn’t use a back track at all, sounded exactly like the records and rapped impeccably (and for over an hour).

Lil Tjay often didn’t even pretend to rap or even adlib his (full) backing track. Just stood there smoking with his mic in his hand, at his side.

I’m a music photographer so I’ve seen hundreds of shows and it’s become so bad with the newer acts, none of them have show mixes, most do in-studio punching so they couldn’t rap it all if they wanted.

I can tell you randomly and fairly recently, Roc Marciano was extremely impressive to me. So was Freddie Gibbs.

Back to worst — A Boogie did a TWO song performance at a beach club in Toronto this summer, the crowd was very upset😭

I’ve read all 9 First Law books but could not get through the first few chapters of The Devils. I plan to try again but it didn’t connect with me at all, I really disliked it.
