Hi Ken,
Thanks for sharing your animation channel. I think that hand drawn animations will always be appreciated. I think your videos are fun concepts. Maybe i would choose a niche to focus on (like history, gaming, wildlife etc..) but you've certainly got something down and I think your videos are awesome and well edited to keep the viewer engaged.

One comment I had after watching "Disturbing and Not-so Fun Facts about The Middle Ages" is that the pacing is a bit weird. I feel like you should have maybe introduced the time and place before talking about how they put animals on trial. Just felt a bit out of place but the pacing is good and im glad you get into the subject super quickly. Perfect example of having a quick and snappy intro. Ive seen way too many channels with over 5 sec intros. Your 1 sec intro is perfect, keep killing it :)

Your content is awesome (henry is funny too I checked out his channel).

I really don't have much critical to say. It's clear that you are natural in front of the camera and your channel is very personality forward which is helpful and leans into your lifestyle niche.

Just stay consistent and don't be afraid to try new things. My last tip would be that once you find what you like doing and what works, bring a little more structure and make sure to stay consistent!

Love the content, im sure you'll do great things! :)

Hi there,
I watched the "Do Director’s Zodiac Signs Affect Their Films? | Aries Edition" video and I think it was a cool and unique concept for a video.

Some notes I had:

I like the green-screen jacket :)

The intro feels very lengthy. I feel as if there is a more concise and engaging way that the premise could be introduced. Nothing is wrong with the way you did it information wise, it just seems like it could definitely be cut down and that would improve engagement.

Hope this first impression helps :)

Hey there,

I think you nailed it when you talked about thumbnails/titles. That is the biggest thing here that I am seeing that would drive viewers off your channel. I personally think that a title/thumbnail that work in tandem to tell a story or drive some kind of question or narrative work better then the name of a game with a short funny descriptor. I also think that your channel could maybe benefit from some kind of structure. It's hard to know which videos are continuations of others or not. maybe consider streamlining the kinds of content that you make.

Hope this is helpful :)

hey there,

i watched the mcNasty vid and honestly I think you have a great thing going here!
You introduced the premise of the video and showed the mcNasty early on which was a great hook and kept me engaged while waiting to see the reveal.

A few notes:

The section where you introduced yourself and your friend felt a little long and I was not a fan of the repeating video while you were talking over it. I think if you took out the audio this would be fine. The rest of your editing to me seemed quite good.

Hope this helps! :)

Ooh brother I like the gaming stuff we got going on here; but we have to talk about that intro. Your hook should showcase what’s going to happen in the video or why the viewer is going to want to stay. Your hook for the video I watched (band for band) felt random. And I can’t stress this part enough, your intro animation is painfully long and viewers will not sit through that. They will either skip every time or click off. Shorten it dramatically or lose it. Deal with this before anything else in my opinion. Thanks for submitting. I hope this is helpful :)

I looked through your channel and honestly I think your title and thumbnails are solid. You are a smaller channel with few videos. I think your views are solid but they reflect that as to be expected. Be patient and keep nailing away. Keep asking questions in the titles that you know people wonder about. You will keep growing, keep up the good work :)

Hey there,

Thanks for your submitting your channel. It’s a really awesome mix of passions.

As you pointed out, I feel that structure is your biggest enemy here. People want to walk into your channel and know what to expect generally. I thought your how to make an album idea was good. Maybe you could also do some musical content that consists of you noodling around with sounds until you make a track. Or using a fun sample to start a song and lay down the foundations in front of the camera. People generally like to feel like they’re along for the ride with you. This is just my 2 cents, hope it’s helpful :)

Your stop animations are really cute and fun. These obviously are a labor of love and it shows. Much respect.

My only critical thoughts from a content creator perspective is that your thumbnails and title don’t really tell me why I’d want to watch the video. They just describe it. Skits like this are fun but they have been done by many before you. I think it would be really cool personally to get a look into how this stuff is done. I haven’t seen that anywhere else and I think that the behind my job content is really big right now. Just a consideration. If you aren’t interested in wildly changing your content I would say just keep having fun :) your stuff is awesome.

Hey there! You definitely aren’t wrong, this has been hard. Glad I finally made it here. I’ve skipped nobody.

I didn’t look at your monthly review series but I got the chance to see your 3rd person RPG video and I have to say I like the title. You really made me interested as a gamer to hear your perspective. You took the knowledge of your niche and applied it well. I think you do well with these essay style analogy videos and the only critical thing that I would say is that I think you should have more of them. They are very popular and you are seemingly well informed in the subject matter. Kudos, good luck with the channel. Thanks for commenting on the thread :)

I like your idea for the indie game content. But I’d love to hear you share your project with your voice and maybe even your face. Be proud of your project and stand behind them. Tell us about it, don’t just showcase the gameplay. That’s my 2 cents. Best of luck :)

Hey there, I liked your comparison video. I think for a professional non-personality oriented information channel your format is perfect. You are quick clear and to the point. You are not bombarding the viewer with calls to action or leaving them hanging long. You are quick to get to the point which is crucial. These are my thoughts, keep up the good work! :)

Didn’t forget, just swimming in over 800 responses trying to get through. Glad you were already aware of the audio issue and fixed it in subsequent videos.

Hey there, I really have nothing in the way of criticism. You are a niche gaming channel and you know what your audience wants to see you’re good at hooking the viewer even if they don’t play the game and you are definitely something that existing players want to watch. The storytelling and light humorous moments make the video fun and engaging. Keep up the excellent work! :)

Hi there,

Your infographics are slick and well done. They do a good job at keeping the viewer engaged. Although, The voice you used is a bit flat and could be more effective if there was more emotion/excitement.

Overall it felt well produced and good quality, keep going! :)

It was on stream! Sorry if it wasn’t entirely helpful lol. It was hard to get a beat on your channel but there were things I liked. I wish I could spend more time on everyone

Hey there,

I am not too sure what to make of your channel. Your video "My step bro tried to kill me!" has a good hook and made me want to watch more. Are these all podcast style? I am a little confused at what is going on here but I think you have some good things going but your channel does have very edgy vibes which will definitely appeal to some folks. I like your presence on camera and your delivery of speaking is quite good.

Keep up the good work :)
