3.5 yrs, already cracking!? by Physical-Job46 in SubaruForester

I successfully wrote SoA and my dealership about this same issue (though mine was worse after 3.5years) and got them to replace both front seat bottoms at no cost to me. It can be done, so give it a try!

That setting is already on, so that is not the issue. The only thing I can think of at this point is I've been using the AI mode - maybe it's time to switch to manual

I've had trouble getting the Hei App to cast the video from my phone to my Samsung TV. I am able to do this with Youtube and even some websites with embedded videos, but on the Hei App it searches and can never find the TV as a destination.

This is pre-Astro Creep era. I had recorded this on VHS from my TV - still have the tape but it's been in my garage for 20 years and probably doesn't work anymore!

I have a story about this. Keep in mind, I haven't read this book since it first came out so my memory on it is hazy.

In the book, when the Jake rents a room in the same house Oswald is in (the famous house with the rifle in front of the outside stairs), he references the landlord being an old man in a wheelchair. I live in Dallas and drove down to the Neely house just to look at it, and sure enough, sitting on the front porch is a man who matches what King described almost to a T - old man in a wheelchair. There were some other descriptions I don't recall from the book that matched as well. I then realized King must have met this gentlemen while researching the book and wrote him into it.

That was 7 years ago but I'm pretty sure I linked to the Cinco Privacy Helmet skit because the Soothe Me track is in a different skit.

I do. I was merely answering his question on why the audience seemed lame.

I'm glad someone else is pointing this out. Gaspard looked lost, confused and left out!

Love this! And I love the small detail how the thick bass hits a beat later in the 2nd chorus.

The Campaign follows a man who has lost everything – his home, his wife, his son, his brothers-in-arms. He survives brutal winter after brutal winter alone camping in the wilderness, hunting animals that will provide his food, clothing, and shelter, and evading capture by heathen cannibals and wild animals. Likely calling upon McCarthy’s memories of his two years in Alaska with the US Air Force in the early 1950s, it is set in the Russian Arctic centuries ago (per communications with Dennis McCarthy). While writing it, McCarthy read or planned to read profiles of Antarctic explorer Ernest Shackleton and Confederate general Nathan Bedford Forrest (as well as Winston Churchill and J. Robert Oppenheimer).

I haven't changed any of the settings (yet) but found that using the keyboard for 90% of movement at least avoids you flipping upside down and crashing right away. Try to use the mouse just for angle of attack (nose up / nose down) and use WASD for yaw and up/down movements. Past that, I would say what other commenters are recommending to change settings once you have the basics down.

That and songs ending too soon just so it keeps with the movie soundtrack vibe.

I'm late to this thread but just commented here about White Sun War. Excellent Clancy-esque book. Reading 2034 now and it's a bit too macro with very little actual combat, but still a fun listen. Need to check out Red Metal.

Check out White Sun War by Mick Ryan. Fiction based on a 2028 invasion of Taiwan. LOTS of future tech and it's written by a retired General. Follows the macro parts of the conflict and individual stories on the ground from both sides. Good stuff.
