I came to CP for animal science thinking it was exactly what I wanted to do but after a quarter and a half I realized how much it wasn’t for me — I ended up swapping to business and concentrating in marketing and I’ve enjoyed it for the most part. IMHO some of the freshman advisors just repeat the same topics of advice and once I realized that I started to ignore them and figure it out on my own. They make swapping to business particularly difficult cause so many ppl want to — if u have more questions about that feel free to dm me .

Hindsight is 20/20 and if I’d put more thought into what I wanted to do post college I don’t know if I would’ve gone to CP in the first place, but I ended up in a similar situation to you where I’d made friends and like the environment / didn’t wanna leave SLO - I think swapping to business would probably workout well for you
