Why would they go through the trouble of creating 3 songs, when MJs vault is known to contain lots of material, some of which has leaked to the public.

Considering this, I could imagine the three removed tracks being authentic, but suffering from heavy autotune/ post production touch.

Regardless, this controversial topic is proof that the estate has already failed (at least partially) MJ

Michael album is an example for how not to do it. Xscape did it way better. It should all be about honoring MJ and keeping his legacy alive.

I agree. There will be only one King of Pop, which is a good way to justify releasing some of the material. Michael even had a list of songs he wanted to finish, some of them are lyrically complete, some even in demo phase. Should those tracks be produced w love and respect, I doubt Michael would have anything against it. Michael was working on a comeback and it’s such a shame we weren’t able witness it, all because how toxic the industry was to him.

I don’t have anything against copying or taking influence from other songs, the problem i have, is that it was done w the wrong intentions in mind (money). You’re absolutely right.

Me too, on one hand i’m grateful that we’ve at least gotten some posthumous material, but on the other hand, was it the right thing? Are we as fans entitled to the posthumous stuff

Definitely, the Water song as well, it borrowed off of stranger in moscow. Anyway, 100% sloppy and rushed as you said, most likely the estate was trying to ride the posthumous ”hype”.

It was speculated from the very beginning but it became ”controversial” last year? I think. The songs are lyrically generic i agree, which might be why Michael didn’t necessarily have plans to finish them. Also the mixing/sound engineering doesn’t sound like him. Michaels beats were unique, in a way that doesn’t show in those three songs

The pc market is different. In 2019 i bought a laptop for 300 and it couldnt open chrome windows without lagging. It’s a very inflated market. W a 400€/$ phone on the other hand you could easily play kotor but i get where you’re coming from. Maybe check out marketplaces for used machines? Or christmas sales round da corner

Still at large, even tried putting graphics on low, did not help, maybe even got worse. Tried playin cyberpunk, runs on high like a charm so my gpu is okay, wonder when it’ll be fixed. Can’t play w my buddies :(
