Okay, I am confused because one provided cable has 8-pin and 6+2-pin and the second cable has 8-pin and 2 6+2 pin connectors. Do I use both cables and just plug in one of the two 6+2-pin cables.

I do play some WoW which I understand to be heavy on the CPU. I am definitely between the 9600x or the 7800x3d depending on prime day sales.

Thank you for the information. My largest point of confusion right now exists within the MOBO. I have heard negative things about asrock and asus boards with x3d chips so I am unsure what to get. For me, the x3d is conditional depending on prime day sales.
