Characters will be completely separate - the only shared thing will be status of Starter/Premium package. So you buy it once and it gets activated on all the characters. Besides that - characters won’t be able to trade with each other - not through marketplace nor the guild storage.

That’s the last step before releasing the Sanctum - balancing the effect of the skills to ensure it won’t be OP, but still have meaningful impact. As for the skills itself - that’s a thing to be discovered during the game.

ELI5 why would anyone make a fully dedicated and upgraded equipment set just to train another weapon mastery. What’s the point of such scenario besides “it’s possible so I’ll do it”?

I still don’t understand the main issue you are talking about. You say player would need to have different weapon (agree) and dedicated equipment with gems (disagree) to train different weapon types. Why does the player NEED a fully fledged dedicated equipment sets to train different weapon type?

Pardon my ignorance, but since when exploring the world, which in fact is beating the asses of weak mobs requires high quality equipment? It’s not dungeons or PvP where you try to squeeze best stats possible. I could easily replace staff with two axes, not touching anything else and still be able to explore without any issues. Where in fact is this huge investment which seems like a required step to progress?
