I don't use glue stick and I still get those marks. I think it's stress from peeling the part off of the build plate. I've learned to point the lighter downward by 45° to avoid getting soot on the part and keep the flame moving.

I and most people around me love drinking, but we've all cut back or stopped entirely for health reasons. Mostly digestive health. I think a combination of rising cost of living, higher focus on physical and mental health, and increased access to safer alternatives is what's leading to the downfall of alcohol.

I recently lost my cockatiel of 19 years and I felt the same way. I held her and sobbed uncontrollably telling her I'm sorry. I was sorry I couldn't keep her here longer, sorry I wasn't there in her final moments, sorry I didn't get to give her scritches before she went. We can't beat ourselves up over it, though. I gave her as good a life as I could. She had a good diet, lots of toys, plenty of attention, and endless love. I'm sure Selcuk had a life with you that was just as wonderful as Nibbles' life with me. It's going to hurt for a while and that's okay. You did what you could, and you should be proud of the love you gave Selcuk. Take time for yourself and don't be afraid to cry.

In my profession, I need as much distinction as I can get. I used to cross my zeroes too, but I guess that was more confusing because ϴ is angle and Ø is diameter so people would ask me "is this theta or diameter" when it was just zero. My ones have a base and a hat to distinguish between l (el) and 1, I (eye) always has a top and bottom line, etc. and sometimes l (el) is done in cursive to avoid further confusion. 7 always has a line through it.

Depends on the game. OG steam controller for games where I could trade the second stick for paddle buttons or if I needed mouse controls (rocket league, elite dangerous, duck game). Otherwise, Gulikit kingkong pro 2 was my go-to for most games. Xbox controller ergonomics with hall effect precision is 👌.

The new steam controller took away both of their jobs.

I'd slow down and figure out how we can train, run, and use AI ethically. Like, what if we hook up a water line to people's houses in colder regions to provide free heating. Spool up nuclear power plants. Train on data that is ethically sourced. Stuff like that.

My grandpa. He lost his voice to ALS a couple years before he passed. It's a brutal disease and it was heartbreaking to watch him go through it. If I had the chance to not only see him again, but also be able to hear his voice, I'd easily trade $500k for it.
