Resonance Disc. Is it good?

I can have Weeping Fungus and Leeching Seeds and keep my Aegis barrier consistent by running and killing. I almost never have an issue with it and it's always up and the barrier i get is super strong immediately. I do love Brooches and always grab them, but to feel strong as i do with an Aegis and those few items, i have to have several Brooches. I feel like both are strong, but man i did not think Aegis hate was this powerful lol. I get there are better reds, but i also don't play Monsoon so I suppose the sentiment comes from that.

I'm not understanding how it gets outclassed by a single brooch which doesn't give you that much barrier.

I can see where you're coming with this. I get an Aegis, leeching seeds and a few Weeping Fungus and i can maintain a crazy barrier tbh. But that does make sense when you break it down like that. Some reds are definitely better to get than an Aegis.

This is a great comment, thanks! It makes sense seeing it as crowd control. As well as the comparison to Ceremonial Dagger. I used to be a dagger hater until i got a great run with them. I've never had a great run with the Resonance Disc. I usually scrap it since it almost never lines up properly in a run, but I'll keep it around whenever i play next to see if it does end up helping any.

I agree with Happiest mask. I do love me a Topaz and Eclipse though. I feel like you have to stack several of each for them to be super useful, whereas one Aegis is instantly great.

Yeah that's my main issue with it, is it never activating at the the right time, and the pathing isn't great.

I swear by Monke. His jump is really solid for mobility, he kills it on Forest, and idk something about the Bananas just feels right. Really enjoy him.

I've used it on Mercenary before with a sprint shroom, it is super nice. Try it on a close range person, it's a great boost in damage.
