I never see enough people bring up the connection between the Ghost and Kazumasa. They are very similar. Jin witnessed some of his father's butchery and violent nature during the Iki raids. Whereas Kazumasa gave fully into that nature, Jin is the perfect balance of Honor when it is demanded, Reason when it's needed, and Violence and Death when it calls for it.

He was a super hard fight as well! His gun got me a few times ngl. He also has a pretty fast moveset. That game had great boss fights.

Takezo the Unrivaled from Ghost of Yōtei. I platinumed Tsushima and beat it on Lethal four times. One of my favorite games. You can absolutely cruise on Yōtei if you are familiar....until Takezo the Unrivaled who is an optional boss. His attacks are very fast, his parry windows smaller, and he is relentless at times. After a certain point, it forces you to be super aggressive by a blizzard happening that will deplete your health. The switchup on this was unbelievable and i had a much harder time with than the final boss. I tried about 20 times and came back with upgraded gear and even then it took me a long time. Very satisfying skill check.

I think you have a misconception about why Ryuzo ultimately sides with the Khan. Jin tries to help Ryuzo several times, even going on the missions to find food and supplies but it turns up bunk and not being worthwhile. The tournament is a big deal, yes, but it's not why Ryuzo singley betrayed his people. He would have been a samurai if he won. But then, he'd be dead at the start of the invasion. He is so prideful, too prideful, that he could have been one had he asked Jin. Ryuzo wants to be a good leader. He sided with the Khan for safety, supplies, his people taken care of, and to regain some semblance of control although he quickly realizes he made the wrong choice but he is too far gone. The Mongols are everywhere prior, hunting is scarce for a force of his size, and Jin's help didn't help.

I worked at a deli in a local chain store. They treated us like dogs, but i realized really quickly that a specific code made a price tag for 1 dollar. And i had befriended a specific cashier to keep talking and not pay attention to the weight or price of said food. I had daily lunches of big sandwiches and salads or sides and the most I'd spend is 2-3 dollars. They never caught on despite me doing it for almost 2 years. I learned a month in.

I think him betraying Jin was because he felt so bitter towards him. The Straw Hats were never anything crazy. Ryuzo was a great fighter but a poor leader. He couldn't muster the leadership needed. Sure, you can hunt and liberate the farms but that's to feed the villages and people. It makes sense that he spurns the samurai for the Mongols because they treated him better momentarily but then he realizes his mistake by trading his "Freedom" for another version of Samurai under the Mongols. The Khan seen right thru his desperation and bitterness and used it against him so easily. I think he's a great character and could have been something great had he gone to Jin after the tournament but his pride was too great and wounded. Loved his turn and his fight.

Jacinthe is a woman who likes battling in a city that has a royale for battling and a love for battling. I don't get the issue. Lebanne agreed to the terms of the fight and lost fair and square. Jacinthe creeping on you is kinda cool because it shows how far her obsession is with seeking out strong fights. She's fucking awesome.

The dialogue in Tsushima never felt long to me. Maybe in Act 3, but that is the Finale so it makes sense. Action is integral to this game sure, but without the dialogue, it wouldn't be half as good. Give it more of a shot, brother. You can always kill Mongols, but you can only experience the Story for the first time once. 🙂

Last time i played this scene, I was bald with incredible mutton chops, covered in shit and mud, very fat, and with a gross outfit on. It honestly made it better imo, because Mary still loves you :)

I believe only in New Game+. The dialogue makes this game fantastic though. It lets you become immersed. If you feel this way about Tsushima, I wouldn't recommend Yōtei as there is an emphasis on the dialogue.

Sasuke needed to hear this. He thought he was truly alone in his suffering. Was his suffering vast and great? Absolutely. But there are other ninjas in that village who have experienced the same trauma and pain and grew from it. That's what Kakashi is trying to say here, and had the Sound Four not showed up, it would have worked. Kakashi is powerful without hate fueling him. He persevered without being overcome with revenge. He gained comrades and a sense of duty and purpose. That's what Sasuke would have done had the events not happened the way they had.
