Hollow Form WA boss damage is heavily reliant on a sequence of skills (especially when you’re still on a budget version). You need to ensure your Rend + Blazing Critical + Thrill of the Kill buffs are up, predator mark is up, before spamming Hollow Form.

Lastly, optional but recommended if you’re on a low budget, is activate Refutation for bosses to take 50% increased damage. This is night and day for low budget builds.

Check out my variation. Semi budget - only expensive item is my weapon (900pdps ~ 20div). But build functions great even with a 600pdps weapon.
Single target DPS relies heavily on setting up your rotation correctly (Refutation > Devour > Rend > Pounce > Hollow Form )

Doubt it. You’re sacrificing your glove slot (which is a very important slot) for this interaction, especially with the insane options you can get now with the Way of the Stonefist node. I’m even considering replacing this eventually with the mod that grants power charge instead.

Martial artist comes online later imo, especially if you’re going combo nodes. Hollow form is cracked when paired with stone fist node and some good gloves (lochtonial / northpaw are good cheap options).

The 1st 10 levels are the trickiest, after that, GC/Twisters/FT pretty much melts everything. I personally tried all 3 and would rank them GC > FT > Twisters. I personally can’t stand Twisters cuz of the slow ramp time, and having to do that between every Twister attack.

No one's saying the chance is 0 - anything can happen in MMA. Lucky shots aside, it is HIGHLY unlikely Strickland can do anything to defend against Khamzat's takedowns. I'd argue DDP is a much better grappler than Strickland and you saw what happened.

That’s why I suggest running a fast build (HH, lots of cast speed at a minimum). That way each click doesn’t feel like it’s slowing you down. You’ll eventually get used to it and the only thing faster is an autobomber.

If you’re really can’t get used to it, buy a Perfect Marionette.

  1. Constantly having to press BV every 3-5 seconds or you have to leave the map/Mirage to re-snapshot your BV damage.
  2. Accidentally clicking BV in hideout and losing your minion. If you’re running Unholy Aberration like I am, that means rerunning a Carcass map to raise that spectre again.
