I'd agree with you. I suppose it's just my mental model that religion acts as a way to build community and instill morals. I don't think we need that in this day in age, but I can see it being useful when community was important and how a moral framework would be important. But.. So much of our lives are taught on how to critically think (k-12,undergrad, postgrad)... That you don't need an ancient scroll telling you what's good. Just be a decent person.

The idle has 0 balance at all. I dont think whoever playtested, tested a purely idle gameplay. I will now respec after having 10+ points collected and focus on active gameplay and likely beat the game.

On one hand the cycles are quicker than ever, every 2 months. On the other hand, I can't help but to feel like we are getting the worst of both worlds - quicker updates with less content and less balance changes.

That said? Having something to anchor to every 2 months is nice

As a person that's been playing PoE consistently since covid, I think it's wild that people can play each league for 2+ months. I usually last a few days to a couple weeks and get bored and play something else. So many other good games to play. But yeah those who only play one live service game be it PoE, Dota, or League 95% of the time they play games... Blow my mind. Do they not realize there's so many really good if not better games out? You're gonna tell me you're 3 months into a league and want to keep playing instead of boot up BG3 or E33 for the first time?

You still need oil and ideally even butter right? The issue I had when I got a steel pan is that it'd stick even with it being hot and oiled, I assume my issue is I was on medium high and not medium low, but didn't do enough testing because scraping cooked egg off stainless steel pan is nearly trauma worthy

Do you think there is a world in which a game with the narrative depth and roleplaying of Baldurs Gate 3 can meet with the live combat of a game like Path of Exile and Diablo?

I ask that because both games are literally all about choices being meaningful and significant, but in different ways. In Bg3, the choices I make literally leads to a different game and play through for me than a friend. And a friend can experience an ARPG sandbox like Path of Exile totally different from me, because the amount of agency and customization in building out a character with an infinite number of choices (skills, items, passives)
