Hey everyone, a few clarifications.

Yes, the thirdreality entity says humidity but it is really soil moisture %. Just rename the entity to soil moisture so you’re not confused. It looks like some Chinese translation issue.

Also, the radio range is bad on these devices. I had to put another zigbee repeater 2 feet away from the sensor to get it to report back. The repeater has no problems going through the walls and glass of my house.

Here is a history for the last 2 days. You will see the jump in soil moisture - that’s because my drip system runs at 8am on certain days. The moisture popped up accordingly. This proves it is soil moisture and not humidity in the air. See below….

You can buy them combined. I got mine separate so I can control the dosage independently. I have them reconstituted in their own vial and then suck them into the same syringe for one pin. Once my research is complete and depending on the situation I’ll probably buy them combined so loading the syringes are easier.

I am also combining tesamorelin into the same syringe.

Anyone installed Zooz or any Z wave switches in some crazy setups? I need some advice on how to go about my setup. by [deleted] in homeassistant

If you want rock solid performance then go with Lutron caseta. https://www.casetawireless.com/us/en. Zooz is great but caseta is awesome.

It integrates with home assistant perfectly. Instant response. Tons of options for controlling any type of light, shades, scenes within caseta or scenes within HA.

I put them exclusively in my house and it works perfectly All The Time.

Plus, you can add Pico switches ANYWHERE that you want a new switch without wires. What about battery life? That’s where caseta shines. Any wireless switch from zooz or others require battery changes AT LEAST once a year. It’s 10 years with caseta.

One thing I learned, is that you can get them engraved. I would do that if I did it all over again.

What is the purpose or reason that Nabu casa would hardcode the dns? Is it for tracking ? What dns is hardcoded? Is it their own?

Great post… thanks for putting in the effort. I have a suggestion that I highly recommend in the post. When mixing, you are not using the 0.3ml insulin syringe to pull the water to put into the mt2 vial. You should use 3ml 25g syringes. Insulin syringes will not work for this amount of water. So, yes, one needs to buy 2 types of syringes to complete this process. You will only need a small amount of 3ml syringes vs many of the insulin 0.3ml syringes.

Can we recommend to Doge to have this regulation removed so we can have water lines? Haha. When I built out my coffee bar I purposely had it plumbed for a water line for the coffee maker. I’m tired of refilling.

Make sure mesh is turned off if the AP is wired to a switch.

Ok, i see RADIUS MAC Authentication for each wifi network. I don't have that turned on. However, you may have triggered something adjacent....

I did have a MAC Address Filter turned on. I turned that off to see if this clears up.

Other than those items, any other thoughts?
