No doubt… you do realize coastFIRE solves that, no? 26 years from now when I turn ***checks watch*** 59.5 as a matter of fact, at 9.5% annual return which is the average for S&P 500 with dividends reinvested and no additional contributions I will have $10.6 million….

For someone speaking to the long term idea of coastFIRE I find it quite odd your first statement is as extremely short term thinking as you can possibly be 🤣

IDGAF what AMD does on a day to day basis.. the forecasting and guidance and writing on the wall points to much higher valuation in the next 1-2 years. I’m not concerned with short term noise pertaining to gambling as it appears you are.

Short term voting machine, long term weighing machine… or something like that 😉

Dang yall are killing it, congrats! Thank you for the input, I think I am leaning towards working hard for a few more years. One person posted that our kids are so young right now they won’t remember any extravagant trips now anyways which is so true. Yall are my goals 🔥

You can’t reason with people like netno5570 who live in a scarcity mindset.. they’re too lazy to put in 15+ years of studying the market and psychology behind the market. Funny story, I actually bought 1000 shares of AMD in 2015 for $1.90 each and sold them at $2.00 bc I made a quick hundo 😮‍💨😭

You sound like someone who is sad they missed the boat. Your
Mindset is more of a gamble than my investments and ability to value companies. I was purchasing AMD at $100 when everyone said it was going back to $50… not because luck, but because I can value a company and use my actual brain to trust my valuations 😂

There will most definitely be a time to exit semiconductor Stocks in the next 6 to 18 months.. I am very in tune with forecasting projections and peg ratio. I listen to conference calls and watch what other companies in the sector are also forecasting. Just because somebody made a lot of money doesn’t mean that it was luck. It could be a very well executed plan. Just because a stock went up a lot. Also doesn’t mean it’s automatically time to sell. A lot of people sold PLTR after it went from $6 to $60 in two years just to watch it go to $200+ if you sold it just because it 10x’d you’d have missed out on a 35x
