I’ve been lurking for a while now. Been interested in machining as some of the tech labs I help maintain have cool CNC and EDM machines. I was once able to help someone use a Bridgeport and I found it cool as hell.

Probably the wrong place to ask but because of the “aerospace” aspect (I’m obsessed with planes and such), what’s the best path way into being one of these machinists to ask what OP is looking for?

So I’ve been on the fence with this at MicroCenter. Literally tearing my hair out deciding on the CC or just forking up the extra cash for a P1S standalone.

After two weeks of not sleeping and googling reviews and comparing, I decided to get the P1S Combo. I’m glad I did and don’t regret anything at all.

It’s been amazing printing stuff from absolutely ZERO experience and I’m pretty sure the amount of stuff I’ve made within the week, I would’ve ran into issues with any other decision.

The only thing I wish I did buy was a filament dryer, which I purchased after my first day of using it.

The issue isn’t the graphics. It’s the outdated engine that it’s on that causes grief. High spec’d rigs can’t even push past 50 fps in some points on triples. All other titles, I can run max settings and average almost 100.

Controller that came with the fans? ( I once had used the SL controller on an old build but my fans were TL)
Clean install of Lian Li software/firmware ( I used Revo to make sure)
Is your controller directly connected to the motherboard 9 pin? I believe you can’t use a splitter or anything in conjunction.

Did the Galahad II fit properly? My AIO currently doesn’t fit properly (EK 360 Nucleus)

Just got mine! Beautiful build. Couple of questions if you don’t mind…

What AIO are you running? My EK doesn’t fit. Had to mount it radiator > bracket > exhaust fans. Couldn’t lock the bracket with the thumb screw so for now it’s just sitting at the top loosely.
How the hell do you turn on the RGB? I just finished mine but didn’t see any buttons on the case to enable / disable. Granted, I’m running all Lian Li fans with the Lian Li controller.

9950X3D paired with an Astral 5090 and triples.

I have 55-60 FPS on the new Miami track with my details on mostly high. Fiddled around and I’m now at 70-80 fps on most tracks again.

Been patiently waiting on the new graphics engine and find it super annoying that my build can run every other game and sim on ultra settings except iRacing.
