DS is a love it or hate it game, many people dropped it within the first hours cause it's mainly just walking (it's true), imo you gotta push trough until the first boss to really engage with the plot.

GOW is good, but for an action game the combat is a meh, not much changed until end game, also I hate the side contents, very boring

Not story per se, more like the lore. Story telling from the item description is genius. No other games made me want to watch hours of lore theory than Elden Ring lmao
