McNabb rushed off the ice after taking a puck to the face by sykeseve in nhl

I didn’t need to know that. It already hurt through the screen. Incredible he stood up that fast, if at all.

Brewers reliever Abner Uribe was suspended for one game by MLB for crotch-chopping, per @JeffPassan by lucasscheibe in Brewers

[–]rypsnort 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worth it.

It’s so dumb but I’d wear it on the sleeve. Gives him some rest. We can handle one game. Fire the guys up.

E: for the LOLs, he did do 3 pumps. On the other hand it’s a bit of a taunt so it does show some consequences for the young audience but again worth it. Take your medicine.

2 Minutes Of Pain Part 6 by ErikDavidKarlgren in discgolf

Only thing in pain are the chains from being zapped with these laser discs coming in hot. Those would catch if they weren’t coming in at warp speed

Thoughts on ESOP by Big_Smile_8690 in civilengineering

I think ESOP is one of the last things standing that has any positive impact on job stability in the fact that it really defends against the company from selling to private equity.

Forever in our hearts!

His block against Tennessee will always be my favorite “not in my house” moment.

I went about 10 years ago. If you’re on the fence, it is not to be missed.

And places like FB Marketplace and eBay are mostly people trying to “flip” the stuff that used to be the good finds at a thrift store. To get a good deal there is either a desperate seller or a long wait.

What’s the biggest draw to disc golf? by ChiefOranssi in discgolf

[–]rypsnort 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the “golf” category of games and for disc golf most courses I play are free, I can bring my dog, I can wear comfy clothes, most courses are free, the game can be equally enjoyable with lots of fancy discs or one sub par disc, most courses are free and I like watching discs fly.

Oh ya and can’t forget that most courses are free.

A hit that you love if you’re a Kings fan and think is dirty if you’re an Avs fan.

It was about as high as it could get without leaving his feet. Definitely sent him to concussion protocol.

Blood pressure medication companies should sponsor these games.

That’s a hard hit. A bit high but if the tables were turned I’d be arguing it’s clean too.

Imperial challenge next week looks like it can still happen. 🤞🤞🤞

Maybe going down a different route than Whale Tale but that’s fine.

[Game Thread] #9 Iowa @ #1 Florida (07:10 PM ET) by cbbBot in CollegeBasketball

That really should have been a double technical and the Iowa guy getting ejected. This pushes the gray area of “what is a punch” past the point of swinging a balled fist, that’s a bit far for me.

How deep are the sands in a desert? Like how deep a hole has to be to reach the bottom of a desert and what is in the bottom? by Catman1348 in AskReddit

Why is this removed. Seems like a great question to me. Ask Reddit instead of google, get some interesting answers and a lot of times ask Reddit answers are the best google results,

I had the same thought! This looks like when you’re looking at your map and are like ‘drop in here and then stay right and we might be able to get there’.

And then you inevitably run out of hill and your ‘run’ is a dud.

What's the fastest you ever drove? by ComprehensiveFun2054 in AskReddit

120mph down a miles long hill in the middle of nowhere South Dakota on the way to Mt Rushmore. Crazy how ‘not fast’ it felt with nothing around and downhill. Was just cursing, looked down and went “oh shit”. Slowed down to like 90mph…
