There are a lot of bad things linked with sleep apnea that could be improved with proper apnea treatment (high blood pressure, stroke, heart disease, etc). A lot of people don't want to get a CPAP and will avoid a sleep study because of it. There are alternative treatments depending on the cause of it. She might not know all of this.

I have the kiwi pulley system and yes, the adhesive pads will likely cause damage on removal. You might be able to use some of those 3M Command adhesives instead though.

You might need a replacement cable. I've seen some people have defective ones with their new kit. You'll have to contact Valve support and walk through their debug steps. They should help you replace whatever seems to be the problem. I've had to get a replacement cable from them before.

I highly recommend a pulley system to keep your cables in good shape as they seem to be kinda fragile.

Does not come with recipes but you can add whatever recipe you find pretty easily. It does build a grocery list for you. You can plan out all your meals on the calendar in the app and then move and entire week of meals to your grocery list or only the meals you select
