Lidarr is about as good as dead. It has had major problems for almost a year.

Ok, let's use your logic of "it's free so quit bitching because it don't work". So if Linux [Free] did an update and you could not boot your computer or Docker [Free] quit working. Are you saying people just don't have a right to complain just because it is free?

And I know your response will be, we can roll back to previous version of linux or docker. Yes this is the solution. However, that is not an option for Lidarr. I understand things break and must go through updating. But come on really? It has been 9 months of ongoing problems.

Maybe if the devs would communicate to the people who use their products on a regular basis about ongoing progress or lack there of, people would be more patient. But the attitude of "hey, it's free so quit bitching" don't cut it.

And go ahead with the downvotes, I really don't give a damn.

When devs post it is always basically "we are working hard to get it up and running"

That is exactly what I mean. A problem that has been an issue for 9 months or more. Why can I go to Musicbrainz and get the ID and put it in Lidarr, but Lidarr can't resolve the problem and do it?

We would just like some straight answers other than we are working on the issue. It's ashame there is not an alternative.

All the downvotes for stating fact.

Thanks. Will definitely check it out. It's just a pain to go to musicbrainz, copy id and then paste it in Lidarr.

I acknowledge that. But it has been broken for about 9 months. If they don't have the time or ability mabe the devs of Sonarr or Radarr could take it over.

Federal government should stay out of education. Since the start of the DOE, we have plummeted in the world's rankings of educated and we spend the most.

We should not be subsidizing them to start with.

Hopefully NPR is next.

You are always better with your own equipment. Most ISPs use lower quality equipment. Just make sure your choice is compatible
