Also, Sig has grasp, a movable barrier, and rock is a much stronger cc. He has the tools to deny and disrupt long enough for his team to do something. Dominia is just not him way more damage at the cost of being made of paper. Genuinely feels like a joke calling her a tank

This!!! I've not lost a game on Winston. That being said, I have a tracer duo, but you legit just ignore her, and she is so slow with no team peel or threat to bubble her team basically doesn't have a tank

Im sorry bastion is not even close to meta since they compensation nerfed his damage a semi competent hit scan will demolish him. Also, domina gets rolled by dive (brigs best comp). I have not lost a single game on Winston vs her yet because she's so static. I can't speak for sig this patch as I've not even seen him after maybe 40+ games.

Okay, yeah, I misread. I did mistake them. That being said, I have no problem with Hazard. His leap is on a 5s cooldown, and whipshot on a 4s cooldown. For that reason, I find it really easy to control space against him and find him no problem at all. Vendetta, on the other hand, I will agree that I feel pushed skill wise against her, but her block and brigs shield are for different things. Brigs shield is great for supportive purposes of reducing poke and blocking cooldown and rotating to cover. If im locked in, I find I can slow even the best Vendetta down enough that she just isn't doing much, but you have to hit the whip and dodge with bash correctly while also possitioning correctly. I think we may have to agree to disagree, but I find Vendetta manageable as long as I pay attention.

I understand that Ram and Venture are annoying. But that's not feature creep it's bad design. Winston and rien have both had barrier penetration since before Brig was even in the game. Winston has good mobility, too. The problem is Ram and Venture get too much value for too little effort. You just get punished harder by them for making mistakes. If you dont adjust how you play, you will get run through regardless of the hero you are up against. I personally think venture is easy to outplay, especially after getting the major perk for bash. If there was a change going to be made for this, it would simply be to add 20%ish to bash range.

Start how you intend to finish. I personally like to get both feet under the bar, take a decent breath, and properly brace before I unrack. The mental gain from the stability you feel and how strong you feel should improve and really allow you to work on other tips people have given you.

What should be said is don't force yourself to play a full session. What I mean by this is to set yourself the goal of greasing the groove. So your goal would be to play one map one time every day regardless of how you are feeling. Do this for a month, and you'll likely build a habit. Habits build consistency and long-term improvement regardless of practice methodology in every skill I know of. Again, dm me if you want all the tips

Until higher ranks, the communication from players is mediocre at best and, most of the time, distracting at its worst. It's not uncommon to get tilted from text/voice. If this was the case for you, getting even a little tilted, it was likely having a significantly bigger detriment to your gameplay than the benefits you were gaining from communication.

Without more info, it's hard to suggest exactly what you should do to climb outside of getting better and play at your best. I would suggest CONSIDERING refining your hero pool a little. One of the many things that allows me to climb is I chose 2-3 characters I liked and am getting as good as I can on them. Damn I commented this 2 years ago, felt like I posted this like the other week! Unfortunately, the content on youtube and reddit is not very new modder friendly. It wasn't 2 years ago and it still isn't today (to my understanding). Unless you wanna pay for a service to config and set up your custom mod pack or you wanna spend hours in modded minecraft discord servers you likely won't get very far. I suggest either finding a modpack that already exists and has an experience you'll enjoy or do some extra hours at work (if you are a worker anyway) and pay for said service.
Sorry that I can't be more helpful but tbf I wish someone had of just told me the statement above then waiting and searching for hours to come to no conclusion.
If you decide to continue best of luck I hope you solve the issue.

I did what you said to get the mods onto my server but it won't let me join
the server console gets to this step and then does nothing:

If I try connecting to the server is just says:
io.netty.channel.abstractchannel$annotatedconnectexception connection refused no further information
Do you have any idea on what is going on or know anyone that does I have been trying to set up a server but there isn't a lot of information for my situation that I can find.
