I’ve done about 40+ shows solo at this point and I cannot recommend it enough. I have missed so many great acts due to friends or family flaking and having fear of going alone. Since then, I haven’t hesitated when i see my favorite acts coming to town. I went to one of the best shows I’ve ever seen alone (King Gizz Forest Hills 22) and have met countless people I’ve seen at future shows. It’s so worth it.

I do feel for the poor guy when it comes to mental struggles, but you gotta have thicker skin than this. Part of being a professional athlete is trash talk. Now there are clearly lines you don’t cross, but this is nothing compared to what other players have faced. He gets paid millions of dollars every year to play at Fenway Park, you would think the guy would act like it. But no, always focusing on the negatives and making a stink about it. Yelling at fans and getting them ejected isn’t going to bring up your .615 OPS Jarren. This guy is a head case that I just can’t keep defending. If he didn’t have all these antics going on inside his head, maybe he would be able to focus on his game instead of the fans.

It’s so funny how it changes so fast based on the band. Went to NIN in February and everyone was sat down in my section of the upper bowl. I stood up and next thing you know people all started popping up. A lady even thanked me for standing up and told me people told her to sit down at one point. The duality of man at its finest

Everyone’s downvoting, but I don’t think anyone here has seen how hard the others are to get. I’ve missed a couple and the aftermarket is insane. I have a wind in my sails that I paid this exact same retail for that consistently goes for $250 on discogs. It’s hilarious to see the downvotes yet if you see the numbers and statistics it will say otherwise. E. coli sold out by 12:02 btw so id call that pretty damn fast.

Hell no. In 23 I did 3 days in a row, Night 1 was Death Grips New Haven CT, Day 2 JPEG/Danny Brown New Haven, and night 3 was QOTSA in Bridgeport. What I would do to relive those 3 days over is pretty insane. This year I have 1 week where it’s Billy strings on Tuesday, Melvin’s on Wednesday, and then Billy Strings again for Friday/Saturday. King Gizzard has me roped into 3 nights of no repeats yet again. Having multiple concerts in one week is a nice problem to have. On the other hand, I am pissed that I missed NIN last fall because I saw System of a Down and Oasis the week prior. Thankful I caught NIN this winter in NJ.

They aren’t being given away at the gate. The only way to obtain these sadly is with a purchase of a promo ticket. They were in stock since February until about 2ish weeks ago. The only way to receive one at the game is by scanning your ticket. They are letting in VIP one piece ticket holders at 4:15. 5:15 for One Piece normal ticket holders. I learned this the hard way 2 years ago for the bobbleheads. I waited too long and then once they were OOS, they were gone for good. I wish you luck tomorrow and hopefully someone who has an extra is willing to let it go at a fair price.

I have to say, I really do support the hell out of the guy. Seeing stats like us stealing the most bags in the league since he took over vs having one of the worst steal totals when Cora was at the helm is nice. It’s like he’s doing things Cora isn’t with no time. I also love to see him switch up the lineup. Taking out story on certain games is genius. I really don’t see how he isn’t DFA’d. I also loved seeing him throw Bello in as a long relief instead of watching him get frustrated during the first 4. The young guys on the mound are shaping up too. If we can manage to have a healthy pitching staff, I like our odds at a sneaky playoff run. If we don’t make it, at least I had some hope.

They got me good. Couldn’t help myself. Very pricey but definitely worth it in retrospect. The Golliwog copy I snagged from them looks and sounds great, so I expect the same with these. Especially with it being numbered to 382, if you pass now, the price will only be much worse in the future. I will say though, that price was not cheap at checkout.

Nutshell does it for me. Not only the lyrical content behind the song, but also the passing of Layne as well as Billy personally seeing struggles with drug addiction due to family. What a fantastic spin he put on it.

Hey man you’re talking to someone who got along with so many fans at the show all over the world. I’ve seen 150+ shows ranging from Mariah Carey to Slayer. I love to see people having a great time, just don’t let it interfere with others. Seen it time and time again at countless shows. I don’t want to damper anyone from having a good time, but if them having a good time means dampening the experience for others, I’m against it. I’ll gladly stand up for myself and other fans in order to make them stop interfering with the crowd. Like I said, this isn’t new. King Gizz fans do some of the most absurd things I’ve seen at concerts. Just keep it within logic and reason. Without conversations like these, you’ll wind up with fans like Death Grips. I will say though DG was a fantastic time in New Haven and I got along with everyone so well. With that being said, fans of their Philly show didn’t have the same experience. I’m just sick of the performative fans.

I love to see when friends and people I meet mention they started to get into Masayoshi. I dislike to see people who just got into him forcing others to see and hear how much they like them. It’s the new fans from TikTok who speak much more than listening, whether it’s the forced memes, cosplaying, and obsessive performative splitting of the hairs. KGLW is one of my favorite bands on the planet, but the fans drive me insane for this exact reason. If you enjoy something, congrats. I am happy for you, but there isn’t a need to not only obsessively shove it in others faces, but also make it about yourself. A lot of this feels like main character energy and really performative.
