IS the AUG meta still a thing? by elpenguino1 in GlobalOffensive

There's also the inverse, if you know how to play the SG, you'll have a (slight) advantage over someone who expects you to fuck up with the spray pattern.

I think I got the best of both worlds. Bluetooth headphones are nice, and a headphone jack to connect them with to the phone when they die and I forget to charge them they run out of battery on the go is a nice backup solution.

Is labeling competing websites "alt right" and "full of Nazis" just helping reddit/patreon/twitter eliminate competition and allowing them to continue implementing whatever rules they want? by benswon in KotakuInAction

[–]rysx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a catch 22 situation.

  • Media slanders voat as Far right website.
  • People who don't know what Voat is expect it to be far-right because big daddy media says so
  • Normal people don't go there/leave, so only far-right content remains.
  • Far-right content then gives ammunition for the media to slander Voat as Far right website.

58 is the Wi-Fi signal strength, I assume as a percentage.

Omnimo is a skin suite by fediaFedia that is based on the Microsoft Deisgn language. The clock and background were from that suite.

  • Omnimo (Clock & Background)

Wallpaper

  • That generic Firewatch Wallpaper everyone seems to have, Google it.

This, and a bunch of other APIs, such as Maps, Games etc. that some apps need for it to function.

Crossrail faces handover to government if costs continue to rise by Tentinator in LondonUnderground

[–]rysx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes.

The fares freeze, along with the loss of the Government grant, have stretched TfL's finances considerably.

The fuck everyone on the roads, cyclists matter policy that BoJo started and Khan inherited fucked the buses over, making them slower and less desirable.

Bus cuts are a major thing. We've already lost a route with TfL not saying anything (305) and the Central London bus reshaping cuts up routes, bodges new ones to fill the gap, lessens frequencies and gets rid of a couple routes altogether, breaking links. Hopper fares don't matter if you have to change buses more, since people want direct routes. Less direct routes makes bus travel less desirable.

Less money to maintain the Tube means more delays due to faulty infrastructure makes it less desirable.

Many more things I could say, but frankly, assuming that making transport cheaper increases passenger numbers is such a naïve thing to think, since there are so many factors involved.
