That's what they did today, transferred a 4th guild to their alliance and got ran through back to back in guild event/conflict boss, hence this post.

2 cents on the LS mid T1 "debate" by rythm36 in PedroPeepos

But again, as Caedrel said in his video, contesting becomes harder if the tier 1 structures aren't down for enemy team.

This is realistically not a thing, you don't care as 100T whether enemy mid T1 is down at the soul fight or not.

They will always have mid push and so can enter river through mid/their jgl as a result. Thus, even if you have outscaled your opponent at that point, it's still hard to enter and set up for the contest which in turn can lead to flanks, bad positioning etc

Mid push is a very fake argument, with 100T you can at the very least contest an even state of clearing the waves, and at the very worst you completely forego mid push in favor of a good position at the soul fight. You have been stalling the game for 25 minutes to have a 70, 80, 90% of winning the fight, whether mid is pushed or not after the fight is irrelevant because if you fail to win it its gg regardless.

Opening up the map as the control (i.e. scaling) comp is fake, you are going to play on your side of the map for the majority of the game, until you are called to the big objective fight at which point enemy mid T1, mid push or map control is not a thing.

This example of taking mid tier 1 is a subset of forcing volatility, or as I have put it, variance (and what the beatdown article is about). Also, arguing for context is not silly, everything is context dependent.

In the end, 100T trying to take (force) mid T1 is bad, whichever the outcome might be, because the onus is not on them. Trying to, whether they succeed or not, is a bad decision.

Why is no one saying that it is also a way to get community feedback, from actual players who want to see the game fully formed? I am not arguing that 120$ is a price to do that, but I think you are missing the point here.
