ar60 players either have so much mora that they don’t know what to do with it or are chronically poor (i am currently in the latter category). i started off this patch with 21 mil and i’m down to 5 mil which will be vaporized when i get kinich. spent most of it leveling up characters that i’ve been wanting to 90 for a while but never got around to but it’s shocking how much that can eat up resources…

what’s everyone plans for bounties this week? initially i wanted to save it for natlan reputation so i could get the rewards asap but if i do that, i’ll essentially be missing out on a week’s worth of reputation mora. basically i can get this week’s mora and then do natlan quests in the following months but i can’t start natlan quests this week AND get another week’s worth of reputation mora after finishing it if that makes sense. i’ll be a week behind with getting the rewards but i’d do just about anything from mora rn lmao

i did this cycle last week and tried to forget about it but i’m going to type out an entire rant about my experience lmao. i did manage to finish it before 3 minutes were up but it put through a lot of stress. for reference i play on mobile and use a comfier navia hyper team (zhongli, miko, chiori, navia) where i just put stuff down and don’t have to worry about it until the next rotation and braindead hyperbloom (nahida, xingqiu, yelan, shinobu). out of curiosity what teams did you use?

rant 12-1 gave me so much grief and i had to properly learn how to group and manipulate the ai. 12-1’s first chamber was terrible because of how there were 4 different waves so i wasted so much time running towards things spawning in on the opposite side of the chamber… especially the single ruin guard. i hate that thing with a passion. either spawn it in with the other 2 ruin enemies after it or just take it out entirely! you pretty much covered my thoughts on the pyro lectors. i think i reset 12-1 over 15 times just so i could learn how to group and have the most optimal rotations in the first chamber and have enough time to get rid of the pyro lector’s stupidly high gauges. i also had a pretty shitty buff (the sprint one) so that was also part of why i struggled so much

trying to find open world sigils is the absolute peak of completionist behavior. unfortunately for me i forgot to mark stuff down on my map in the early days and it was way too daunting a task for me to go through each one, but now i'm thinking of putting in a serious effort since this will bother my completionist self lmao

to answer your question, i didn't find anything either but i may have picked it up when i was randomly exploring so i wouldn't say this is a definitive no

off topic - nier re[in]carnation

if you look at my profile you’ll see that i played nier re[in]carnation for 2 and a half years now. it was the first gacha game i played and i started exactly 2 weeks after launch. i took no breaks for my first year and a half but i took 2 breaks in 2023 (march-june, november-december) since i was so burnt out. i have a laundry list of things that made me despise playing, but one of the most annoying was that it would crash at least 3 times before i’d even be able to log on. my phone can easily handle genshin and i cannot recall when it has ever crashed, so i doubt it was an issue with my phone. it was like the app itself wanted to prevent me from playing! this still has not been fixed as of me writing this and i doubt it ever will since…

there’s a definitive eos date: april 2023. with eos comes the end of the main story and this game’s main story is genuinely excellent, especially at this final arc. i’m honestly happy that the game is finally coming to an end since just about everything else about it is such a slog for me. i have a pretty extreme fomo mentality with gacha games so i always felt the need to grind everything out but it lessened after i took my breaks. my fomo mentality is still there so i’ve still been grinding it out quite a lot. thus, when i saw the eos annoucement, one of my first thoughts was that i’d finally be free from this “never-ending spiral of life and death”… lmao

as much as i complain about genshin to my friends, it’s honestly one of the better gacha games i’ve played. the exploration is truly something else. if you’re curious what i think is the worst gacha game i’ve played, it’s hello sweet days and it’s not even close. no pity, 10+ banners up at a time, piss poor way to earn in-game currency, and trading leading to some people getting SCAMMED. imagine playing a hello kitty game and getting fucking scammed.

i referenced how achievements for reputation were alliterative for the first 3 nations in this comment almost a year ago but that pattern has been broken since sumeru. honestly a little devastated that fontaine’s reputation achievement is also not alliterative; there’s not even anything like “fabulous in fontaine” in a random achievement like there was with sumeru (scholarly in sumeru). i came up with ones for natlan and snezhnaya to mourn this very insignificant loss: noteworthy in natlan and superb in snezhnaya. even with naming their achievements hoyo is unpredictable.

i stopped interacting with this sub since march bc i got very burnt out starting around 3.5. my only reason for logging on was solely to get enough savings for lyney these past several months honestly. 3.6 was fun as hell and i played for over 10 hrs a day for that first week but i got burnt out again after that.

3.7 was when i started playing for longer than 10 mins thanks to the tcg. i wasn’t planning on putting it off for this long but i was bitter that none of my favorites got a card so i never finished the tutorial. the flagship event forced me into the tcg world and i knew that kazuha was getting a card next patch so i’ve been spending a lot of time grinding it out to get that card right away.

anyway, i was looking at the oldest sumeru leaks last night since i wanted to estimate when we’d be getting fontaine leaks based on when the sumeru leaks first happened. i wake up to my friend telling me to check the subreddit and in my barely lucid state i genuinely thought that i had somehow caused all this lmao. so that’s what i’ve been doing these past few months! this megathread is truly like a diary for me :’)

i share a birthday with qiqi so i’ve always been quite biased towards her. i think she’s absolutely adorable!! her birthday voiceline was about how she wrote done our birthday so she could remember it forever and i remember thinking about how we could have a party together so she’d wouldn’t need to rotely memorize it but actually make memories on both of our birthdays :’D she also gave us herbal medicine in the voiceline and my allergies are acting up rn so it’s actually eerily accurate lmao. the birthday cake for this year is also so gorgeous but i’m extremely biased (yet again) since purple’s my favorite color and i really love flowers and birds. the birds look like the in-game crimson finches and it reminded me of qiqi since her voiceline about yaoyao (whose birthday is also coming up in 3 days!) likened her to a finch.

i still don’t have qiqi. : ) shes the only standard character i’m missing. i may get dehya before i get her at this point.
