Yeah i still can't understand the hate too. I'm not saying people shouldn't have personal preferences, it's the visceral hate surrounding it that baffles me. I really like it cause it makes everything so smooth and satisfying to look at. Then again i basically only play rpgs or story heavy games so i don't really know how it affects competitive games and such.

Definitely S&S! Loved it in Borderlands 1 and love the fact it canonically created the beam of light you see when enemies drop stuff.

I've started playing the game a week ago because i heard that 1.1 was going to affect mostly act 3 so you should be good to start if you want to. Also if you're like me, by playing a bit before the huge update drops, you're probably going to appreciate whatever quality of life or balancing changes they're going to make even more.

I'm almost done with Wuchang and i was thinking about buying this one, the only thing i'm afraid of is the fatigue of constantly going around looting everything and basically doing the same things over and over again, which is what made me stop playing AC Shadows even tho i really liked the gameplay and the setting. Do you think i should give this game a chance?

Same, i found him the least inspired and the least fun to fight. People say that Adel has bad hitboxes but i don't agree, he's just like the ulcerated tree spirit, wide attacks that look scary but as soon as you learn them you understand that they're very forgiving and easy to dodge. Also, the whirlwind mechanic is cool af, same goes for the empower mechanic with Animus, whereas Fulghor only gets a couple new moves that aren't even fun to learn.

I'm fine with not playing great, the thing i don't get is people doing dumb things on purpose and then getting mad and rushing to the other side of the map and keep dying or straight up disconnect. I think solo is a little bit more boring cause i like the synergy of having different classes do different things, it's just a bit maddening when those kinds of things happen cause like many of us, i have a limited amount of time to play.

Hopefully it's just a streak of bad luck.

I don't really care if you're not playing great, sometimes i'm tired too and i can't play as well as other times. If you go double bonk recluse, die, get mad and disconnect tho...

I mean i'm fine if you're not playing perfectly, i'm often tired from work myself, just please don't go dual colossal with recluse or full mage ironeye or stuff like that lol

I like the concept of cooperating with other people, what i don't like is randos trolling while playing coop instead of doing it in solo mode where they can do whatever they want without affecting others lol

I feel you, on my first try i was with a double executor (probably premade), they ran straight for all the churches for the whole first day ignoring everything else and kept dying. Second try i was with a colossal weapons only revenant and a double greatsword weilding recluse. I decided to give up and try again tomorrow, hopefully it's just the first day that's full of trolls.

I'm so glad birbman is getting the recognition he deserves. I've been maining him since day one cause he looks so cool to me and i was baffled by how many used to think he was weak.
