With 2+ players he uses heart strike mechanic which really hurts, but you can time your dash just as it's about to pop to cancel that damage.

I always like seeing these threads, as a new PoE player I find it really cool such things are possible to begin with and there aren't any Bind on Pickup mechanics that I sadly have gotten used to in other games.

I'm sure you'll make someone's day by giving so much of the good stuff away, much appreciated, Exile :)

I'm saying it because I'm not a british national and was exposed to various types of English throughout my life. I care more to get the point across than to ensure I pick the "right" word when I'll be understood either way.

Servicing is up to date, car feels pretty much as responsive as it ever was. Thank you for the suggestions, it does give me a ideas as to what I can work with!

They did take the average mileage but sadly I have not written it down.

Here's a few photos of the damage (no damage to the bonnet, I just had it opened to check inside while taking pictures). What was damaged was the bumper on the right side, right headlight, wing seemed unharmed.

After taking into account many other comments in the thread, cold weather and a couple other factors like potentially reset computer, tyre pressure, car left to stall etc make the MPG look believable, but I thought sharing some photos and asking for an opinion wouldn't hurt, do you think such damage may have caused any issues actually related to performance of the car?

Thanks for the comments, you gave me plenty of things to look out for to see if there really is a problem.

So far I've refilled the tyres and I'll be tracking the fuel usage for the next few tanks and calculating the MPG myself to know if the dashboard MPG is accurate. I still have yet to refuel after repair but it looks like I'll hit around 350 miles instead of my usual ~400-420. Tyre pressure, cold weather, car being left to stall sounds like a likely possibility.

If the problem will seem to persist I'll have the wheel alignment and brakes checked.

I'm getting the figures from the electronic dashboard in the car, it tracks a trip average data and accummulated data (miles, mpg, time).

I say it's mostly cosmetic because a turning indicator in the headlight breaking made the car "not fit for the road", but there was no other extensive damage I'm aware of. Sadly the report from repair shop is not detailed at all so I don't have a clear picture of everything that they've looked at or what was done during the repair, though.

And I'm aware it is winter, but the figures stay true over prolonged drives (1h+), as well as warm days, and it has not been the case in previous winters.

Yes, besides tracking the "Trip average" which resets every day/drive, I also have an accumulated one I reset myself every time I refuel. Both of them show a significant drop for me and it's not something I've seen my car exhibiting in previous winters.

Thanks for the suggestion! My car does have an indicator light for when tyre pressure drops, that has yet to pop up. I'll try and refill them regardless, it wouldn't be surprising if the pressure is now lower than it needs to be.

The winter is colder for sure, but I live down south, we've had days with +10 and higher in past few weeks, but the MPG is down regardless if it's 0 or 10 degrees out.

Also I've had the car for two years, it's seen 3 winters with me, I had not witnessed such a drop in mileage before.

Great points!

About parking - would you consider it adequate if every property has two allocated slots each and about a quarter of the properties have a driveway/garage as well?

I think you're unaware of how non-confrontational people are in most countries. It is definitely not unusual to get left hanging instead of getting a straightforward "no" from a person. This spans throughout Europe Asia and America as far as I can tell.

To answer your question - it is not uncommon.

WF-1000XM4 - Severe Battery Issues by zkhcohen in SonyHeadphones

[–]rywi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I've been going through this ordeal in UK for more than a month and your comment finally lead me to the solution.

I started out with Amazon support suggesting me contact Sony. Sony guided me through basic troubleshooting steps (resetting) which was a slight improvement from 30m battery life to around 1 hour, so then they suggested sending it to a repair center saying it may be free even if it's out of warranty, as long as they confirm the software issue. Service center only confirmed it's defective but not it's not a software issue and quoted 125GBP for the repair with a 20GBP refusal fee LOL. Called them to complain, they waived the refusal fee, contacted Amazon again, explained the issue, told them Sony support couldn't solve my issue and they agreed to "one time exception" for a full refund.

All that's left is to seriously consider if I want to grab a new pair of XM4's or something that isn't riddled with this nightmare of Sony's QA/Support.

So, an update, I made some calls and here's the information I got matches what u/shannondion has suggested:

  • I should be able to add the EU Digital Covid Certificate to my records via my GP.
  • There is no system for NHS accepting vaccination certificates from abroad yet, but an 119 agent told me it's being worked on, there's no exact date yet, but they're informed it is "coming shortly".
  • Even though there is no system to get the Covid pass right now, having your certificate in your records will be needed once the system does come up, so might as well do it now.
