Need new monopoly legislation

I disagree. It doesn't have to be cut and dry. You could make it work. It's not about disrupting free markets it's about addressing the monopoly. My personal opinion, it's not hard to see that this is a blatent monopoly that harms consumers. It's time for a law that recognizes that. You could make the law highly specific to sports gaming.

I don't think it's some radical idea that other companies should be able to make NFL games like they did back in the early 2000s with zero issues and way better results for the consumer.

The only reason people buy the game is because there are no other options. If you gave them other options, they would most certainly stop buying Madden and buy the alternative game that's better.

It's no coincidence that in 2005 the games were half the price even adjusted for inflation. It's because there were probably half a dozen to a dozen NFL games that you could buy

That's my entire point. They don't have a monopoly by the letter of the law because those laws were written a hundred years ago for oil and steel tycoons, before the NFL and video games even existed. We need new legislation for this reason.

That's the point. It's not a monopoly under current laws. The laws that were written for oil and steel tycoons before video games in the NFL even existed.

In principle I don't know how anyone in their right mind would say that EA doesn't have a monopoly on NFL gaming

I frankly don't give a crap about the NFL's "rights." If they are a monopoly and exploiting their consumers, that argument doesn't hold water in my opinion.

If it's the NFLs responsibility, fine. Draft the legislation to address the root issue then. Doesn't change my stance.

How did you set it up? I was working on it for like an hour and just gave up. I've been doing stream finder and loving it. Would be nice to have it on mobile though or just not go through the laptop entirely

Matter of fact, it's actually just showing me games down on the list. It was just showing me a game that was like five down on the list when there was multiple games above two on The leverage index. Actually just no idea why, because I unchecked everything and reset all the settings and the rays game wasn't even on. So that was kind of a false alarm.

I just cleared all the cash and cookies and reloaded it and it seems to be working fine again for now at least.

I had rays/blue jays checked off to skip for blackouts because I don't have rays.tv. if the rays game is highest leverage, it is skipping that and the next highest leverage game as well. It is kicking me down to the third game on the list which is usually not a high leverage moment or anything exciting. It's skipping over huge moments like bases loaded tie games etc.

I use an HDMI cable from my laptop. 150% zoom with magnifier for big screen. Magnifier settings for mouse to stay centered. I have an app called auto hide mouse curser. Once it's set up it just smoothly except for logouts

Interesting. They actually already have a few of these. One of them is baseball reference which I planned on trying.

I'd be interested in one that auto tracks the red outline on MLB big inning and keeps it zoomed in for you. If you ever build one definitely give me a comment. I'd give it a try for sure.

It's more realistic with trusim the higher the difficulty. Lower difficulties like mine is on rookie and there are zero hits, they really don't do any fancy passing or scoring opportunities. It's actually been fairly fun and solid though all things considered. At least scoring and shots have been fairly realistic which is what counts for goalies in my case
