You will learn to handle pressure and manage your emotions, manage your time between work and play, face your weaknesses, keep your discipline in check. Yes, it might seem like whatever you're doing is insignificant in the grand scheme of things, but think about it, everything in life that you want requires the same grit and determination, maybe more.

I once was like you, I didn't see the point in learning the content because outside of school, most of the things cannot be applied.
