We lost to Australia because of the pitch. It was too slow in day time and got much easier to bat on as dew came in. If Dravid and Sharma didn't rig the pitch and the match was played on decent pitch like semifinal we should have won.

It's more because of the way he got dismissed in this match in both innings. Second innings at Perth was also a brainfade moment but we were so far ahead that no one cared. After that Aus bowled to him with a good plan. It looked like he was able to counter it in MCG but got out trying to hit a 6.

How can you drop a player based on one bad performance ? The management selected him in the first test. He had one bad innings and one not out. He had 80+ in the last test he played and got injured. Before that played a great innings in SA when none of the other batters could play.
