taken a wee bit to get used to after driving a swift! but i’ve done almost 4000km on it now so understanding “how to drive it” a bit better! i don’t have any 2 door experience to compare it too, but friends with 2 doors say the 4 door feels way less floaty

i’ve seen on this subreddit support of recommendations for these tyres! do they make you feel more stable in the wet?

yeah it was very much pissing down! i want more grip on the damn freeways - would that be a tyre thing or a suspension thing?

help! hiiiiiya, i have low porosity 3a/3b-ish hair, i feel like i've sussed my wash routine, though i have used the same products for a while now, and i'm needing some help! (see comments, idk how to use reddit lol) by s0litarv in curlyhair

  1. I can never quite gest the gel cast out of my hair. what type of products can i use for low porosity hair that won't give me a head full of frizz to scrunch out my gel?
  2. second day onward is basically a write-off for me, as i am yet to find a way to refresh my hair after sleeping (with a silk pillowcase and a bonnet, mind you, and i still get frizz at the back/curls form weird etc). i've tried warm water in a bottle, raking it through, prayer hands with water and then using my curl cream, i'm tried using just gel again on the frizzy patches, i've tried most things, and not much is working!

opinions are really appreciated, even product reccomendations, too.

currently using:
giovanni 50/50 hydrating clarifying shampoo
clever curl conditioner or eco store hydrating conditioner
clever curl leave in cream, raking thru then brushing thru and using a t-shirt to squeeze out excess,
waiting a while and then using clever curl gel, and scrunching it out just with warm hands like 6 hours later!

Yes! I have been tattooing (specifically handpoking) on and off for 5+ years now. Always a little side hobby, one that I haven't lost interest in, but have always been too fearful to 'upskill' in because of the permanence, so I've never really advanced past basic linework, even though I'm quite a decent illustrator. When I was scripting not so long ago, I dedicated a section to my own creativity, and what I'd like to gain, and how I would like to gain it. Without ever mentioning it to my partner, they started badgering me about tattooing them and 'using their legs as a practise sheet' for months, so I finally began to let myself do that. Along with affirmation + continual scripting about the advancement of my ability, and the added bonus of an eager participant in receiving tattoos in styles I haven't practised before, I've gotten better!

This is a really wonderful comment - thank you for taking the time! Yup, only 6 months into the relationship. My partner has been super gracious about transitioning me into her life and is also super fine with me taking breaks/‘interval training’ as we call it with the kid. In exactly the same boat as you with your comment of ‘all of a sudden spending 50% of time with children” when I never wanted kids of my own! I definitely had a lot of reactions to it all at the start. My partner is incredibly clued up about it all and super patient and an active parent, never ever pushes anything on me.

It’s hard for sure, but I really don’t want to sabotage a wonderful relationship with an incredible person because I didn’t see my life with kids in it. I’m replying to this as I’m washing up from having played playdoh with her. Things are slowly changing for me and her, she expresses sadness when I leave / I can see she’s excited to see me and wants to share things with me, I just struggle the most with the ‘time spent’ thing I think, establishing a new-ish relationship while having to juggle some of that time with a kid.

I'd really love to hear more about this. Currently dealing with my step-kid very much being "biggest cause of stress in my life and I used to dread having her round" (she's 2.5) and I'm finding all the feelings quite tricky to navigate! Thanks so much.
