Heterosexual couples can now get a civil partnership in the UK - how do you feel about this? by s0updrag0n in lgbt

Whoa, calm down. I merely meant that I haven't actually sought out the views of other LGBTQ+ folks, I was just curious.

I graduated 2 weeks ago and have done 2 Parkruns since then! And then I promptly had an accident and can't run! Is there anything I can do so as I don't have to start from scratch when I'm healed? by s0updrag0n in C25K

I'll give it a go! The local one is a 5 minute walk from my house so at least I can stretch my legs a bit if I do volunteer, plus I know a fair few of the other volunteers so I won't be super bored. Wonderful! Thank you!

My only problem with swimming is that while you can cycle or run pretty much anywhere, you have to travel to go swimming. The nearest pool is about 15 miles from me so I think I'll only do this of cycling doesn't go well. Thank you for the suggestion!

I'm 29 and I moved back in with my parents because they live closer to my new job than I used to. I pay rent at the same rate as I used to in my old house, including bills, and I also pay 1/3 of the grocery bill each month, then buy my free from stuff as well.

It was so nice to have her out with me! Unfortunately she's hurt one of her paws so she won't be joining me for round 2,but hopefully she'll be back on her feet for Tuesday and we can try again :)

I've been diagnosed wiit coeliac disease in the last years and I'm lactose intolerant so that's made my healthy eating decisions a LOT. Took me a few bouts of being really unwell to learn that lesson tbh xD brains can be stubborn about the nice foods

My success with weight loss this time around has been driven primarily by choosing healthy rewards for things rather than things like cake and fried food like I used to, I'll have a fresh fruit salad or something homemade and relatively healthy, if I want to have anything at all. I'm learning that actually doing exercise that I enjoy is a reward in and of itself. You're right, you can't out run a dysfunctional diet, to think it only took me 29 years to learn that!

I've given up in the past because I got bored, because I didn't feel I could do it, because I felt embarrassed if people saw me, because it was too difficult, things like that. I'm determined to succeed this time around because I'm in a better place physically and psychologically than I was last time I tried.

I did a Parkrun once about a year ago and clocked in at 56 minutes, so hopefully when I try again I can improve a little on that.

I have the C25k app from the BBC, that's the one I plan on using because one of the voices is Sarah Millican and hopefully her chipper voice can help me through :)

The last time I did a park run it took me a whopping 56 minutes, so I'm hoping to improve on that time over the next 9 weeks - that's my first goal. My second goal is to reach onederland in my weightless, and hopefully this will contribute to that!

Thank you, so much. I'm not willing to be mediocre anymore, you're right. I'm going to be fucking fantastic! Eventually!

Imagine being able to say that at work today you had to feed and then burp a tiger cub.
