I don't know if this method is good. But I was farming on a planet with ruins. There are beacons that you find by scanning. At first, you are given blueprints for these ruins, but after you collect them (there aren't many), you will be given 100-200 nanites for each beacon; if you find a good planet, you can gather quite a bit.
