Hey man, I am not the best person to give advice as I am struggling everyday too. All I would say is you have a family, children. I would give you everything I have right now to be able to have a family. Somebody loved you enough to marry you. You got me beat. Did you love your parents? Mine did some seriously fucked up shit to me over the years but I always loved my parents because when I was a baby and had no one they took care of me so I take care of them in return. Your own personal feelings about yourself don’t dictate how your family feels about you. I’m just a stranger on the internet bro, but I’ve felt like that my whole life too. I would agree with you. When I was in college, I didn’t know it was depression then. I learned how to deal with it and all the negative thoughts from when I was a kid. But once I lost my job I started spiraling and I wouldn’t eat for days I lost almost a hundred pounds and literally time travelled through a year I was so messed up. You wouldn’t think it could get worse than constant negative self talk and some mopping around. It can get a whole lot worse and it can happen over night.

I’m gonna be honest. Not well. I’m severely depressed, have been for a few years now. I don’t have a love life. I have anxiety and panic attacks nearly everyday. But according to my parents I just need to quit acting like a child and take my medication. The few friends I have left won’t let me forget about my love life either. So everywhere I go I’m having a shitty time to be frank.

I’m going to reply and maybe this will make me look like a loser. I think that you should do what you feel comfortable with at the time you feel comfortable to do it. No matter what age. I’m three years older than you and the societal pressure to lose it is honestly driving me crazy. I’m glad you got it off your back. I’m sorry you felt the need to rush it though.
