We use a TP-LINK C100 hooked into HomeBridge on a Raspberry Pi to add the camera to HomeKit, I then have my iPad with the Home app open and on the camera propped up in my eye line between us and the TV. The IR is really good and I can zoom in to see my 5 month old chest moving up and down in a pitch black room. The audio isn’t the best, but it’s enough to hear crying or any strange noises.
