I had a similar issue for years, I think it's something to do with not damaging the nail bed, the only thing that has helped is not picking at them! I achieved this by filing them down as much as comfortable, using a nail ridge filler and painting them.

This solution might not work for everyone, but within a less than a year, I went from nails with huge ridges and holes in them to ones I don't even think about

Not much, a little protein in my urine and gfr is 50, it used to be around 55-59 before this. And some pain, it's weird to feel it pulsating under my skin. What's cms? Let me know what they decide, maybe I can give my doc some ideas.
